Unless someone can give me a REALLY good reason to allow this, I can't see it happening... The entire point of the rank colours is to make it easy to identify who is who in the chat at a glance...

So I just went into Freedom-01 and ran /skin a few times with various things, but couldn't re-produce. Anyone able to elaborate more on what's happening here?

Is the issue that the colour scheme is currently inconsistent, or that you just want to change it?

I'm not happy with a total wipe, but would be in agreement that re-defining what an indef ban looks like is a good idea. Would welcome suggestions by the community to better manage "Long term bans".

With that said, I won't be wiping the permban list, so this is declined.

Would people be deeply troubled if we replaced the box with the text equivalent (ie :joy: instead of 😂 )? Feels like it would solve most of the issues we're seeing, and doesn't get into the weeds of the mess which is the MC emoji support...

Would appreciate more feedback on this one.

It feels like the root cause of this are people being a PITA towards other players / admins...

Is there any reason Category 3.C doesn't cover this?

I do get the concerns raised, and I'm hoping the new plan will address some of them, but appreciate it will never be truly perfect.

Tab is generally limited in it's size without it starting to look silly, so I'm less so happy to do this, but we probably should update the MOTD on login more often / generally anyway.

I'm very much against this, and to be honest would go as far as to say I'd rather remove custom login messages for everyone than make this change... If people want login messages to be added to the list, then by all means suggest it, and the ability to buy packs of them at a discount compared to buying them all individually will be in a later release (I'll even bump that into the August release of TFM given it's clearly desired) but allowing the freeform login message isn't really something that I'm super keen on right now...

While not strictly any named part of the policy, I made the decision that Ashaz had effectively resigned by leaving the discord and as such his status was revoked.

As far as I'm concerned, his suspension is classed under "Category 3 - Temporary Suspensions" and if you really wanted to put a number on it, it'd end up being a 3.H suspension because of the many occasions he had left discord / other platforms.

I've raised FS-391 to scope out the exact list of messages we want to show for admin actions, as I think it'll be more than just bans.

So on Freedom-01 I've changed the setting Steven mentioned from

moved-too-quickly-multiplier: 10.0 to moved-too-quickly-multiplier: 13.0 in the hopes that should help. I'll leave this thread open for a few weeks to see if that's doing the job or not.

So I've raised FS-387 to make the tags that show up in game from the Discord bridge match those as if the player was really in game, I think that should look a lot more "Normal".

My thought potentially with usernames was to allow them to be more customisable, like in game. Potentially through linking your IG to Discord, and allowing people to set the display name both text and colour, but would appreciate folks thoughts as it's not quite the same as this suggestion...

So I think my current approach with the shop is going to generally be this.

We need people to vote, and the shop is a great way to encourage and give people a good reason to do so, however I do fully agree with @"StevenNL2000"#2 and others points around not putting paywalls up for the sake of pay walls.

My current thought is that as new shop items are added to the server, the value of existing ones will be reduced, allowing more people to buy them or for anyone to get them (Setting the price to 0 for example), this means by voting and otherwise supporting the server, you get to play with new cosmetic functionality ahead of those that don't, and likewise there are plenty of other ways to earn coins through events and the likes.

I've created FS-385 as an "Epic" to which I will create a number of other Jira tickets under to start to add these items in, I suspect it will take quite some time to get them all added, and I'm happy to talk with @"RedEastWood"#47 and @"lyicx"#21 along with @"Folfy_Blue"#356 and anyone else in the community if there is a preference to the order in which we add these.

On the grounds that the plugin just doesn't work for Flarum, I'm afraid you'll either need to use alternate channels, or wait for the new forums to go live. Declined.
