To add some further info on this as far as I see it.

The reason ATLAS (And a lot of other companies / teams) moved off of Discord was because of it's generally poor approach to managing security. The fact that Fionn uploaded to Discord a screen shot of our teams, means that screenshot, even if he deletes it from chat, will remain on the CDN and Discord servers often for 6+ months after the content was supposed to be deleted, which for me is ultimately unacceptable.

The fact that red re-posted that screen shot here as part of the evidence he provided rather than redacting / blurring it honestly becomes irrelevant, because the original content is now out in the wild and on Discord.

This is the original image that Fionn Leaked, which was a PRIVATE & CONFIDENTIAL conversation between the EAO Team at the time on MS Teams:

This statement, the huge drama that came after it while I was working, and the frankly shite attitude Fionn has to owning his mistake, compounded with the blind assumption that I owe him something for him telling me Seth deleted TF (despite standing in when Windows went AWOL and him not being the only person that did tell me about TF) has generally rubbed me up the wrong way, so I'll post you the chats that happened as a result of this thread and leave it there. Because of the poor behaviour, the decision to make this statement which ultimately seems to focus around slamming Red for him then notifying me about Fionn leaking and because of the huge drama fest this keeps bringing up for no reason, I am no longer going to entertain at this time reviewing the indef ban from the community, and the original suspension & indef ban will stand on it's original merits.

Ban Reason for Transparency:

The content wasn't cropped, certainly not so it was only the comment, and I found them myself in Discord. As far as I could see it wasn't obviously a joke at least on the times I saw it and either way was not appropriate for the server, and I suspect in reality actually would violate the Discord T&C's if it were reported to the trust and safety team...

For some additional context, this is the rest of the conversation between me and Fionn, as it got rather continently cut off...

To give the community some insight, I'll try to put my 2 cent on the matter.

I've intentionally avoided heavily moderating any of the threads critiquing the changes I and other folks have made because it's one of the things I seriously hated before I reinstated and eventually became owner.

I also believe I had originally made it pretty clear when I put my name forward as owner that I wanted to grow tf and add new game modes and grow tf generally speaking.

It does however become difficult to follow that through with the amount of constant push back we've had, and when a lot of it is misinformation its even more challenging.

At the moment I'm personally in the process of trying to buy my first house, so fighting these fights isn't something I've got the time for, and that's part of the reason for pulling the expansion projects as well as the resounding negative feedback to growth I've had.

I also need people to appreciate how much developer effort it takes to maintain the freedom game mode. Our Dev team are wonderful but there's only so much so few people can do... That's why we have been exploring existing serves and existing game modes which require near 0 developer effort.

Hope that's useful / interesting and at least explains where my position currently is.

Think the issue is related to the removal of Hub-02 which was still defined in the Bungee config. Hubs are the only things listed there so that hopefully should now look better. Let me know if it continues to be problematic.

Fionn has been indefinitely suspended, striped of any former admin status and permanently banned from the server and all other associated platforms as a result of evidence being submitted to show him breaking a section 1 offence which applies to all platforms (Violating UK Law).

If Fionn should decide to appeal in the future (Which may not be before 6 months from today) it will be a mandatory requirement to re-apply for admin status from scratch, no previous ranks / admin status will be considered as part of any application process.

Further Clarification:

I've been asked by a few people to provide some clarification and justification, and I think that's fair. This was fairly vague and that's on me.

Fionn along with all of the executives when I took over TF last year were asked to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement as part of moving our executive and other senior leadership roles away from Discord and into Microsoft Teams. As the Microsoft Teams instance also had vast quantities of ATLAS Confidential data in and the aspiration was to bring the TF staff and the ATLAS Staff together to better collaborate, we needed to put safeguards in place to not just protect confidential conversations regarding TF, but also any ATLAS Confidential data.

Recently it had come to light that Fionn had a screen shot from one of our Microsoft Teams conversations which was only accessible to the EAO Team at the time, which he then shared with an individual (Possibly more but I had reports from a single individual) showing a confidential conversation.

While the absolute legality of the NDA can be argued to / fro (As has been already) the fact remains that he leaked conversations which he knew fully well were private and confidential, and from my perspective it's now impossible to know if / what else may or may not have been leaked. While at this time ATLAS has no intention to legally progress the matter, at the current time the suspension and ban will remain in place on this community.

Just a warning - The thread asked for recommendations on phones, not if iOS or Android is superior. Save that for another thread please people.

iPhone wise - I've not used iPhone since the 7 Plus, but my understanding is that FaceID is excellent and a lot of folks I do know with iPhones don't miss the finger print reader, it has been suggested that this years iPhone will have an under screen finger print reader, but that'd likely be above your budget anyway based on apple pricing (Though that's not always a real "saving", there's a great LTT Video floating around explaining why buying last years phones aren't often actually cheaper!).

Android Wise - I tend to recommend OnePlus, I've currently got a OnePlus 7T Pro as my daily driver and love it, and have heard good things about the OmePlus Nord and other newer OnePlus phones. The only drawback with them is you lose the sleekness of the Apple EcoSystem, and they certainly don't hold their value especially compared to iPhone.

I'm personally switching back to iPhone just because I'm struggling to find Android phones that really give me what I'm looking for, and given I have a MacBook I use most of the time when I am at home and am not working, going back to the EcoSystem will just be nicer all around. The only drawback I have with iPhone is the lack of USB-C, but I think I'll have to live with that (Especially as I've got a work iPhone now, it won't be so big of a deal).

Clear instructions were given to everyone that they needed to follow the skyblock rules or they would be sanctioned. It really is as simple as that, video broke the skyblock rules over and over by hacking on the server and this is him being sanctioned for his actions.
