↩ RedEastWood I can't... We have no active development currently progressing the work to enable 1.17 and I've not been active so I have no ETA, there is no ETA. A lot of work that I had done has been undone in my absence so at this point it'll be done when it gets done. We were supposed to have done the update months ago but haven't been able to for a number of reasons.

I need to check but I think this was fixed in 1.17 and the intent was to re enable it then but we wont re enable it before that and I won't have the developers write duplicate commands like this just to fix a mojang fuck up.

↩ characterslimits They can still be an executive (if they still do their job), but without the admin rank.
While technically true, as soon as an executive is removed from admin, they will be removed from executive status because really as far as I'm concerned it's a prerequisite for holding an executive position. While there are exceptions to the rule, generally speaking it's how I've managed executives to date.
I'll make a longer reply later when I am actually properly back on TF but the TLDR is no, I won't mandate executives be included in the activity policy because the activity policy itself was supposed to have changed already to better manage these things.

↩ characterslimits Because the sys admins are allocated to support the Minecraft servers. There are serious GDPR issues I would have to deal with mainly by "Employing" the sys admins if I wanted to grant them access to the forums, else you lot would all have a bitching session around being DOX'd in the usual uneducated way these threads go.
This will be deslt with as I've already said, when I am more active.
Locking this now because people seem to lack the ability to read my own reply.

I forgot it had not been changed in ages. I've changed it to something generic for now that's not COVID related. I need to pull together a calendar of remotely important global events and make it somewhat more topical but yeah should be better than nothing for now.

↩ StevenNL2000 the closest one I could find which we've had for a while is one that doesn't use a password and instead does one time links to your email to Auth you. Though how much you trust your email provider is then the next issue.

↩ Ivan Given I am trying to take some time away from tf no this hasn't been looked at.
Part of the issue is its not easy to reproduce. I for example have never seen this issue logged in or not on any device I use. Reinstalling flarum is an option and might end up making sense anyway given how fucked the beta version we used when we first re built after Seth has ran and seemingly fucked shit up every update since. Will look at options properly when I'm not trying to take some time to myself. I haven't forgotten about this or the other flarum related shit shows.

↩ @'billy7oblos' Bumping suggestions results in them going to the bottom of the list to be reviewed. They're reviewed based on their last post.

FYI RandomCommentator has been forum banned for 7 days for continuing to power post on this thread.

In line with the current priorities for tf as a whole there's currently no scope for the anarchy game mode to be re visited.

↩ Folfy_Blue The current server conduct policy will simply be moved to be staff only and re-phrased as a "starting point" as it were for admins to gauge appropriate moderation action. These guidelines will be what's enforced, experience and the existing guidelines will then be used to help decision making. These guidelines should and will stand on their own feet as it were without the need for supplementary guidance beyond this.

↩ Alco_Rs11 As with any and all sanctions this will still apply:
QuoteNote - While we are formally removing the “Categories” of bans, the levels will likely still remain the same in terms of options for punishments. To help keep the actual guidelines as short and sensible as possible, we’re no longer breaking punishments down to the same level of detail as we previously have.
So effectively there is no major difference beyond giving admins the ability to use their judgement and common sense, but we will still provide more detailed guidance based off the current conduct policies to try to help apply a somewhat consistent bar to moderation action.

I've intentionally kept it vague because the whole "X Blocks from Y" thing was more of a pain than it seemed to solve, it just encouraged trolls to sit at 251 blocks from spawn and advertise it to the entire server, so I wanted to keep it vague and generally discouraged, with ultimately the decision coming down to the staff online to apply appropriate moderation action (or none potentially) depending on context.

I'm going to open this thread now up for public feedback. As far as I'm concerned we've generally covered all of the existing server conduct policy rules. Things relating to Discord and the forums may still be missing so I'd ask folks to focus around our in-game rules and feedback around if they feel this is clear enough.
I'll also say I have intentionally moved away from listing specific punishments and examples, because while admins found it useful, having a 20 page rules in game was just not helpful for anyone... I'd ask folks to properly read this and only then suggest changes if they think there is something missing.
EDIT: Only the bold headings will then be added to /rules in game, with a link back to this thread. Happy to also take feedback on tweaking the titles for the sections to make them more clear.

I'll bump (And sticky) as we do now have this working under an Atlassian open source license.
