Has anyone seen this issue in the last few weeks. After a few updates I've turned off the automatic reloading of the proxy side to the plugin and haven't noticed reports of it down.

Not to all of them. We should have access to most but some were created by people's personal accounts. I'm not sure how much effort has been put into actively recovering them though.

I don't think this has ever been disputed, but there is also a difference between chill and the wild west... A lot of what I've done as you're well aware has been to try to stop the things that caused players to leave before, like admins making up rules as they go along, totally un-tested code and config making it straight onto the server and resulting in less stability and all that good stuff.
Frankly the average player or prospective player really shouldn't see any actual difference in how the server is ran now compared to 2 years ago, the difference being stuff behind the scenes should be that bit more organised, and we should have our shit together.

Though on a serious note, I have no real issue with setting it up, I just never saw the point. Originally we had 2 hubs for resiliency in case we needed to do maintenance and stuff like that, obviously now that's no longer the case this probably does make more sense, all be it a rare occurrence that it'll be needed.

The servers name is not what needs to be debated here folks... If there are interesting game-modes that I think are unique and worth while progressing, we will do exactly that. Please stop bickering over not allowing a game-mode because of the name of the server, it has no relevance here.

↩ Heavenly And I think you missed my point. We don't have enough time from the developers to maintain even what we have, much less re write things... We're still 2 major versons of mc behind with nearly 200 open tickets that need completing iirc... I appreciate a re write might sound good but it won't really solve the crux of the problem which is the data isn't in a sensible format.

↩ Heavenly That's the issue... The devs both don't have time, and as I said the plugin was recently re done from the ground up but had serious constraints due to the way the database had to be structured from the last team that wrote the plugin.
Without either a lot of database re work or starting the guilds from scratch there aren't many good ways to do things re write or not.

Will take a look. Not sure if these are usernames or nm display names it's trying to use but I know we've had some issues with nm not picking up name changes properly for some reason. Will have a look and chat with the developer if needed. We might not be totally up to date anyway which is probably not helping.

While I appreciate it's a bit early in some regions, it is now well and truly the holiday season and I wanted to just take 2 mins to thank all of you for being active members of the community.
The last 2 years has been very difficult for a lot of us, and has been challenging for TotalFreedom as a community, with a lot of changes, and some serious struggles, but despite all of that, we're all here today.
Please do take some well deserved rest and relaxation over this break for those of you that can, and I wish you and your families a very wonderful Christmas break.

↩ Ivan On the contrary, if Nick or I am not convinced they are 13 or older, it's every right for us to challenge that... Discord have 0 issue culling entire communities because people are under-age on them, and I think the community would be more pissed at me for letting that happen than to go "Let's see some vague proof that at least let's us tell Discord we did our due-diligence".
The alternative is once we identify the account as underage, it's Cat 0 Banned with no route for appeal as far as I'm concerned.

We have a ticket to reset the plot aliases. I sort of couldn't be bothered on the grounds that we're working on a replacement but if it's actually frustrating player experience we can do it.

You can as if relatively recently. We can in the amp panel nicely that were moving to. I'm just not sure it's the sort of thing that works for a public server as you all share the same world and resources and are expected to play together as a team.

↩ matscalle That wouldn't be fair, and would still not work. As I say we've explored a lot of options with this, but a clean re-set is the best way forward on this occasion.
The current worlds will be made available to download once they are reset so you can always play on a local server if you want to continue the island.
