I appreciate the post in question might well have been made with noble intent, and I certainly hope that is the case, however, given the context of the thread and the fact nobody seemed to take such offence on the other post (EDIT: The cat post for clarification), I'm less convinced of this.
With that in mind, I'm going to issue a permanent forum ban for the user in question, who can appeal no earlier than 90 days from today.
To cover the French Law aspect, while it is true that French law should be followed on the forums due to them residing there, the reality is I am not qualified to make such a judgement, and where these rules have been enforced previously were under very different circumstances, where the nuance of French law was not really required. Given no legal proceedings have been put forward, at this time I'm not going to go further with this, and would suggest that we focus less on specific law-breaking and more on community guidelines...

I would say, the OP has been on the server for a while, and while the activity is not at the level of Mentally Unstable, it has been pretty reasonable and when you look at the activity index she's in the top 15...

To update, the forum is now back up and running and as before, migrated data is going to be read-only. I'm planning to move over all of the threads this time.
Given they've now released the Flarum importer, unless there is anything absolutely show-stopper level (The above mention stuff I decided wasn't and we were too late to report) then we'll look to be moving in the coming weeks.
Unlike before, I have also created a new board at the very bottom of the forums for existing members here to be able to create threads and posts on to start to get used to Woltlab. The forums haven't had any real fine-tuned configuration so a lot of stuff might not work quite as expected, the current priority is getting all the content moved over for further review and testing.
We need to restart the MC-02 dedicated server which currently hosts Freedom-01 and the Development Freedom server. This will result in a short outage while we restart the machine and the outstanding updates are applied.

I finally got around to figuring out why my browser spell check was doing sweet F all still, none the wise why it didn't work so went down the Grammarly route instead so the post has been re-published with some corrections and tweaks in it. Hopefully, people do find it interesting.
Just to update folks, the new release of Woltlab is now out, I'm having some challenges installing it so have reached out to their support team to find out more about the issue, once we get to the bottom of the issue we'll do one hopefully final cut to hash any issues out, and then we'll look to do the full migration. I'm expecting we'll now be off of Flarum within the next 6 weeks.
This wasn't enabled due to the raids and at the moment isn't planned to be disabled.
If you use the vanilla mc client you won't need to specifically install Java as they bundle it as part of minecraft and the launcher.
