I'll see if I can let people set their own speeds in the hub, if not I'll look to as you suggest set the default to be higher. Will need to check with the MB Team if this will break things like the Parkour.

@Noah#3606 the p command should be aliased I think to the new party system potentially. If you still have the issue make a new thread please so we can track it.
@Motionally#3604 It's not something I've seen on servers before but absolutely more than happy to look into doing something like that. I would need to do some checking to make sure it doesn't break anything and all that good stuff and if it's possible but yeah, certainly something that can be investigated.
Could you make a new thread in suggestions for this and we can look into it. 👍
A very quick note just to wish you all a very merry Christmas.
I appreciate this year has been really difficult for a lot of people, and celebrating Christmas may not be everyones top priority but I do hope you can all take some time to be with family and friends, either in person or virtually over those apps we've come to know and love like Zoom over the coming days.
Looking back I never quite expected to be here writing this post, it's been a very interesting year for me, and I never thought I'd be sat here running this community and it's a genuine privilege to be entrusted with the servers future.
I've written a longer post over on the ATLAS Blog which you're welcome to check out here - https://blog.atlas-media.co.uk…shes-from-the-atlas-team/
We will be doing our best to keep TF up throughout the holidays as I also appreciate that people need time away from family and friends, and that there will be people who unfortunately aren't able to celebrate in their usual way or the way in which they'd prefer.
I wish you and your families a safe and wonderful holiday break, and thank you all for your continued support ![]()
That should be fixed now.
I've fixed the permissions for /msg and a load of other things and removed the chat cooldown entirely for now.
@Telesphoreo#3583 Because it doesn't make sense.
You're going to a sub-set of the server that is on play. so freedom.play makes absolute sense. Likewise smp.play because you're connecting to the freedom / smp part of the play domain.
In the future there may be other things on the top level of the sub-domain where freedom / smp would break the pattern, play. is the MC server so adding sub-domains to that makes logical sense.
@TFTWPhoenix#3565 No.
You already can
freedom.play.totalfreedom.me will automatically route to Freedom Servers
smp.play.totalfreedom.me will automatically route to the SMP Server.
The Hub is there to catch the majority of our players who want a choice of where they play and to be able to explore gamemodes.
Suggestion denied.
My thanks again to the team involved in both the normal hub the the festive one, it's really very greatly appreciated!
So I'm struggling to see what's wrong with /near... It might be something to do with it being on bungee, I'll have to do some more investigation into it either way as it looks like it's an issue in Essentials rather than anything else. I've logged FS-42 for me or the team to look into.
Probably somewhere around 2013 / 2014 for me. Was when I was proper excited to be an admin all the time 😂
To update things are now setup and running.
We are having some teething issues unfortunately which may cause some disruption, but hopefully you can all enjoy the festive hub, and this allows us as we go forward to grow the server and our offerings ![]()
The caps thing has been disabled now. It was something that I think either I enabled or was enabled by default on the network manager tooling.
Lemme jump back on and see what's going on with near.
Apologies this is running behind. It's taking longer than I had hoped due to some other issues and work stuff I have had to do. I'll update when we start.
As part of the work we're doing to bring the server more alligned and ultimately enable growth, we're going to be doing some maintenance tomorrow.
What you will find is the server will be unavailable for a very short while, and when it becomes available again the MOTD and slots will look very different, and when you join you'll be routed through to our new hub server that our wonderful Master Builder team have been working on.
I am expecting that for a short amount of time you'll only be able to connect through the portal into the SMP Server while the Freedom Server is updated to connect to the bungee, but going forward you'll end up connecting to the hub and then on to the Freedom server.
I'm expecting this to start at around 1PM UK time tomorrow and to be complete by around 2PM.
I appreciate it's short notice but we've been working very hard for weeks to make this possible and are excited to share with you all the hard work we've been getting sorted!
@Motionally#3513 It's not really a bug, the commands were never designed to be used with offline players and were never designed with that in mind. It is a new feature request really.
Though I do appreciate the point, where we can we should be supporting online and offline players in a rational way.
More generally though, if the player isn't online and you have evidence to support it, they should ideally be reported then on the forums which is the current process.
@StevenNL2000#3465 Yeah, I think the "Spirit" of the policy is that it should be a decision made by all the executives at the time so hopefully this better portrays that. Though I'm certainly open to peoples thoughts if they don't feel that's the case.
fssp has been suspended with immediate effect due to a combination of violations of the various conduct policies, and being a general nuisance / bully to a number of players on the server.
He is hereby suspended for the following violations:
As admin of an off-server platform with various levels of abusive content, and for continuing to promote the platform despite it being against a number of the values for both TF and ATLAS - https://forum.totalfreedom.me/…t-outside-of-totalfreedom
Section 3.F of the staff conduct policy
Section 3.C of the staff conduct policy
Section 3.C of the Server Conduct Policy
Section 3.H of the server conduct policy
Section 3.J of the server conduct policy
In general the individual has proven to not exhibit the values to which I would expect to see in an experienced senior admin of this server, and I've had a number of players and admins report various rule violations, and while all are minor individually this behaviour has gone on despite warnings from myself and others, and is not acceptable.
An appeal to this suspension will not be considered until BOTH of the following criteria have been satisfied.
To prevent the concern a number of people may have around people behaving well for the 2 week suspension and then returning to their "old selves" if they are unable to follow the guidelines and values of this server and are suspended again for any reason in the future, the minimum suspension will be double that of the current one (Ie 4 Weeks and not 2) and this double up of minimum time suspended will continue until such a time that I am satisfied it is no longer required.
To update there is now an /inspect command (I think is what it was called) which will allow OP's (And admins) to inspect blocks using CoreProtect without exposing the issue we originally had.
I know this has been re-posted elsewhere as well so thought I'd re-visit the original thread.
I'm currently looking into the alternatives that StevenNL2000 has linked in the previous post here. We will look to trial some of these options on the beta server and see what options we can come up with and how things work.
I won't mark this approved / denied until I've been able to try the plugins out, but will raise a ticket on our Jira board to look into them so that I don't forget (Again)!
FS-42 has been raised on JIRA.
