@videogamesm12#10614 only on the Dev server. Not putting pre releases on the live server. Hoping to cut the formal release and push it to freedom servers next week.

There have been a load of updates to TFM over the previous few months which haven't quite made it into a formal release, we're hoping to get back to regular updates of the plugin now and have cut the 3rd (And hopefully final) release candidate for the (now late) Feb 2021 Update to TFM.
You can find the full release notes here - https://github.com/AtlasMediaG…releases/tag/2021.02-RC03

For the other open applications, I'm currently in conversations with the existing development team to review the applications as swiftly as we can.
-
@Fleek#6913 Apologies for the delay in getting back to you, welcome aboard

-
Appreciate all your work so far, it's been greatly appreciated! Hope all continues to go well with your other commitments.

Just for transparency, I've removed Windows from forum mod status, Flarum suggests he's not logged in since November of last year and he hasn't posted since then either, so I am assuming he has gone inactive.
I will look to open up applications for additional form mods that are outside of the Europe timezones.
-
Just to let folks know, Flarum will now block new registrations using what it determines to be disposable e-mail addresses. My hope is this will very effectively deter trolls and spammers who rely on such e-mail services to stand up thousands of accounts very quickly, where now they will need to go and register full e-mail accounts.
It's not perfect, but it should get rid of the worst of the noise in combination with other measures now in place.

With some help from UnderTails on the server we've been able to confirm this is an issue where TFGuilds can't remove a guild rank from a member once they've been added, even though it looks like that's what it does. The original bug ticket will be updated appropriately.
-
@UnderTails#10477 Probably would suggest setting yourself to nobility and then try re-setting yourself to emperor. I'd rather not do any fuckery with the database itself...
-
@UnderTails#10474 You have two ranks in your guild somehow... You need to set yourself so you're only emperor and not both an emperor and nobility which is what you currently are.
-
So I'm un-approving this not because I haven't raised a bug, but because I'm not sure there is one.
I've had a look in the Database, it appears you're both a Emperor and a Nobility rank in your guild. Which I'm not sure if it's supposed to be possible, but it looks like that's why it's showing you as that.
You're number 47 and as you can see you have 2 ranks, so the plugin just seems to have showed one, I suspect with enough use you might flip flop between the two ranks in tag as this probably was never intended...
-
FS-134 raised to look into this...
-
Urgh. Well isn't that bullshit...
-
Given the individuals behaviour on this thread, they've received a 24 hour forum ban to give them a chance to cool off. I will also give the benefit of the doubt and will allow the appeal to continue and will simply prune the thread of the individuals outburst.
-
Just to update you all, I've cut the release candidate for TFGuilds which fixes some of the little bugs that were impacting the server.
It's had some testing now on the dev server and is now running on Freedom-01. Please as always report any bugs on the forums in the bug reporting category.

@Shdwo#10434 It's an option, but requires a considerable amount of work because as I say, it's not the native bungee behaviour that I expected...
-
@redeastwood#10433 The issue is it's the way Bungee seems to work. It doesn't seem to default route you to where you came from, at least in the scenarios I've seen.
This isn't something we can "Fix" this is either changing the default bungee behaviour it seems, or go back to how it was before with the various hostnames and encouraging people via the hub which was always my personal preference.
-
So unfortunately this has proved not to work quite as it was intended, it seems to randomly dump you somewhere on the network if we don't force people to the hub, which was not the behaviour I had expected. As a result I've gone back to forcing people via the hub on play.totalfreedom.me because at least you don't end up on a server unexpectedly...
I'll re-open this thread for further conversation.

Rather than banning heads within a range of spawn, can we cap the file sizes / resolution?
-
So this was already sort of approved, we have FS-101 on our backlog to do an impact assessment around options to move to FAWE because we don't yet know what the real world implications of switching look like yet and we want to make sure we get it right and understand the implications of making the move. There's another thread (Which you might have even made from memory) with the original suggestion for this to happen.
