I'd like to appoint RedEastWood to the role of Executive Marketing Manager further to his application for the original ESL Role.

This role has been re-scoped to be the following:

    Executive Marketing Manager

The Executive Marketing Manager will be responsible for the overall advertising and promotional strategy of the TF Network, bringing players in to the FreeOP Servers, and any other gamemodes we launch in the future. This individual will be expected to represent the community externally (And by extension representing ATLAS Media Group) with the end-goal of bringing more players to us.

This individual will also be expected to help coordinate and execute our social media plans, along side other individuals as appropriate and to work with the Community Manager and Lead Developer to agree on priorities for new features, gamemodes or anything else that may help attract players. This individual will also be ultimately responsible for things such as voting, which will likely play a key part in the advertising strategy, again engaging with the community manager where appropriate to do so.

This poll is to gague community support, and will be used to support my decision on if the appointment here should be formalized or if a new candidate needs to be identified.

I'd like to appoint Lyicx to the role of Executive Community Manager further to his application for the original ESL role.

This role has been re-scoped in to the following:

    Executive Community Manager:

The Executive Community Manager is responsible for the health and ongoing retention of our community. This individual will be responsible for managing server events, for engagement with the community and helping to bring suggestions to the wider leadership team which will benefit the server and helping to run the server social media presence. This individual will be responsible for helping to maintain the community on all of our platforms (In-Game, on the forums, on Discord and anywhere else we may deem official in the future).

This individual will be expected to work closely with our development team to help agree priorities for features that the community are looking for, and will be expected to work closely with the Executive Server Evangelist to ensure a joined up strategy for the growth of the server. This individual will also continue to oversee any associated communities / servers with the TF Network.

@Ashaz#15629 Yeah, I'm keen to understand specifically why this has been blocked, because it feels pretty silly a command, so if it's blocked for a good reason then fine, but if not I'd like us to re-visit it.

@StevenNL2000#15463 I'm thinking the scenario of "Player X has 2000 punishments, they must be bad" and nobody bothering to look to find 1990 of those were orbits / troll stuff...

I'm also just aware there can be such a thing as too much data / info, and I'm not sure logging commands that were designed for fun / trolling originally as punishments is really an accurate reflection of how they're used.

Will it do any harm? Possibly not. Do I think there's any value so far from what I've seen here to be worthy of putting dev effort in? Not really.

@StevenNL2000#15451 My concern is the usefulness of the data.

Players / admins often get caged / orbited for example for fun / trolling, because really that's what the commands were originally created for.

The blocking of commands, pvp or block editing is a bit different, but I'm just wary of over-logging when the value of the data is questionable.

@StevenNL2000#14526 Yeah, that's sorta my point... I don't think TFM ever used range banning for /gtfo or similar commands.

Fleek Are you or one the dev's able to confirm if non-indef bans actually do range ban still?

@videogamesm12#15423 I'd rather us not be modifying it in the first place, and the more we modify it, the less manageable it becomes especially for MC Version upgrades... That's currently my concern. I'd like to try where possible to keep modifications of plugins to a minimum.
