@StevenNL2000#16417 the nice thing was they'd collapse down so it wasn't super annoying to see, but I agree that the threads will likely end up a mess. More than happy to decrease or increase the figure as needed though.

I'm aware there are issues where if someone quotes a quote that you have been quoted in previously, it'll notify you.

I'm not sure there's a real good way to fix this, so for now I'm setting the maximum "Quote Depth" back from unlimited to 3. Hopefully this should minimise the issue, but we can reduce it further if needed (Default is 1 fwiw)

There seem to be a few issues around image upload sizing, I'll look into it... I don't want them too large as it'll just waste server space but I agree that 500Kb is pretty low.

I agree, I was hoping there was something default, this is "Sort of" a thing because the forums will show you the number of new posts / threads at the board level, but I agree a similar style to the all threads here or proboards recently updated threads would be good. I'll look into it.

I'll have a look, I'm 99% sure you can have "Liking" - Reactions are just the default way things work, no reason we can't either add to it or swap stuff out fully.

It'll look more complex than Flarum, but that's the cost of a "Real" forum suite.

So on mobile, the notifications show up as red dots. For notifications themselves, they are on your profile (The notification on the left is to tell me I have un-read threads in boards I follow)

Can you give some more info on exactly what's not easy to navigate? It should be reasonably self explanatory once you start to use it...?

That theme has since been replaced, we're experimenting a little bit with a few options, and videogamesm12 is also working on adding a very custom one as well, so we will probably end up going back and forth on various themes for a little while yet.

There's a "Knock off" version of the theme Video has created now set as our default.

I'm not a CSS Wizard so have done the best I could, it probably won't be quite perfect but hopefully is still readable and is a nice enough theme to use.

The new Forums technical preview is now live.

Please have a poke around, the styling and such isn't something we've worked on yet, we've just been getting some of the basic config setup how we need it to be setup.

This isn't something I'm willing to approve or allow... It causes problems enough on non-FreeOP Servers, and our current WorldGuard regions that some guilds have are already a major major pain. If you want to build on the FreeOP server outside of plot worlds then the risk is accepted someone might come to fuck with you / your stuff.

Just to let folks know, further to the last maintenance we did which was planned to be overnight (Which didn't end up going for the full 14 hours due to an unexpected issue) we will be re-attempting the maintenance on 4th May between 11:00 and 13:00 BST.

Freedom-01 will be offline during this time. Freedom-02 and the hub infrastructure will not be affected.

@Miwojedk#16183 Given the use-case that command was designed for, and having previously needed to use it myself to stabilise the server, it's one of those commands that are there for when things are so fucked up that the server just is not playable without removing specific blocks, it's less common I think now, but used to be something I remember having to use regularly...

Back to the topic though, if Armourstands can cause lag for clients when used in bulk, and are a common way to abuse, then I think on the FreeOP server it fully makes sense to have them auto-wiped on a regular basis, as we would for similar entities that cause lag to the server or clients.

@Miwojedk#16136 it's a day to day admin tool. I agree it's an extreme one, but we regularly have tools on the free op server that are destructive in order to keep the server playable...

@Miwojedk#16134 at the moment this role isn't an official rank or title. That may and probably will change in the future when we have an event server and different perms are needed, but at the same sort of time I expect a lot of the ranks and titles to significantly change in how they are used and seen.

Yeah Java is fairly resilient, Java 8 runs on some fairly old operating systems as well due to industry that depends on it.

If it were most other modern games I'd be slightly more surprised.
