hi all so the template is gone and i may be blind but i don’t see the board. i’m posting this because this is a problem and has been for a while

matscalle has routinely been disruptive and as much as i support his return to the server itself i don’t think he’s right to be on the forum as thats where a lot of the issues occur.

matscalle had to take a break due to uncontrollable anger problems and overall an unhealthy relationship with tf and since returning has shown a trend of powerposting and such and i’m not confident he should be fully reintegrated into the community just yet, and in my opinion should be banned from the forum only until further notice

in doing this it means he isn’t totally excluded from the community but is limited in what can happen and i believe this will be beneficial for us and him personally

seriously its retarded why is it still around

currently it gets locked, then there's voting, then there's a period of senior admin voting but in my opinion it should be changed back to what it was - why do we need to lock the post and vote on it later and why do we need a second voting period that basically makes the first voting period redundant?

User X is a semi-active player. Maybe joins once every week or so. User X uses an exploit unknowingly and crashes the server. User X is not friendly with anyone else, and User X knows what they have done is wrong but did not realise they had to report what they did to the admins, because if they knew that is what they had to do, they would have. User X would then be banned for 4 months. User X has no admins to contact to make a case, they cannot use Discord and cannot post any appeal on the forum. User X knows what they did was wrong, and wishes to make amends and truly did not intend to cause any harm but User X is still banned for 4 months. Is this fair? The ban was correct; User X broke the rules, but User X did not intend any harm and just wishes to join again and have fun on TF

A user appeals and the community votes. The user does not decide "Right I'm coming back", the user does not have any say other than putting their side forward. The user does not get an automatic unban. I don't see why this is difficult to understand, the community can decide if they are being sincere and whether they deserve to be unbanned or not and I'm not honestly sure where this whole concept comes from given it has never been a problem.
