if you don't like a joke report it. its not that hard. the admin will then take action accordingly, if you don't like the action taken report it to caleb, its as simple as that really. I'm not having people come to me upset because people knowingly made jokes that were targeted to their religion to make them uncomfortable.

the issue with initiating a hard list of offensive shit is that it won't cover everything or will cover too much. or, it'll be either too restrictive or too lenient. i prefer just using my own discretion because if we use this thread an example jwmp would be indef suspended if nick was the suspending admin, whereas I only thought 2 weeks was fitting

jupiter banned bobpop because i instructed them to. on discord, in dms, i told them to gtfo them. under the conduct policy, the most senior admin at the time has the final say; therefore the one responsible for the retroactive ban was myself, not jupiter. i wasn't aware of the warning given beforehand hence why I made that judgement.
all i've gotta say is grow the fuck up. objection.

Immortality sounds fun in concept but living infinitely is highly overrated. For the first couple hundred million years it's not so bad, all just planet exploration and watching new life evolve into existence, which is the dream of any gardener really; but living forever means that, no matter how well the garden is maintained, eventually every friend dies. At first the pain is eased by their offspring, watching the children of friends flourish and grow, but they too have their time. After a couple million years of losing friends it becomes increasingly more difficult to make and maintain friendships, less effort is put into learning individual traits to avoid the inevitable heartbreak and seeing aspects of long dead friends in the forms of their great-great-great-great-great-great-grandchildren is more a torment than a gift. But the worst part by far is when the planet is gone, swallowed by its home star, and everything ELSE dies leaving nothing but dust and memory for the immortal, still living on.
