@'Reperak' I think the advantages are not now but in the future. Having a local community member as a bot developer means I'm happy to take feedback from the community. With a large bot like MEE6, well, good luck trying to request a feature.

You're not making a great case here, all I'm getting is you want me to add a bot that currently only does moderation but you don't want it to have moderation permissions on the basis that it may or may not have features that we will find useful at some point in the future...

@'Reperak' Kero is your bot. That statement doesn't make sense because Kero isn't a large bot by any means.

    Re-read my post

Object, @"shdwo"#94 has pretty much summed up my reasoning. A github statistics command is far from necessary and Kero does pretty much everything we need. If it is decided we need a second bot that is developed by a 3rd party for whatever reason I'd much rather we use an existing bot like MEE6 rather than an early stage development bot that would potentially give an OP moderation permissions to the discord server.

You are not to blame for your parents being negligent. Your feelings are valid and their job as parents is to put up with whatever it is you're going through and to be there for you.

@'CoconutCereal' Could anyone give me advice? Maybe an app or some sort for money for errands?

If you live in the US there's doordash, EU there's takeaway.com

iirc you live in australia (?) and if that's true I don't know much maybe @"Fleek"#188 would know but I found Deliveroo works in Australia, maybe ubereats and I think doordash also operates in Australia

zeseryu what is an "active" player on the forums? what is an "active" player on discord?

The fact ur asking this suggests you haven't read the draft so I can't really value your criticism. It feels like you're criticising just to criticise if you're not going to bother reading what the thread is actually about.

RedEastWood The reason I use plan as a sort of reference point is that it is so easy to achieve the active title in plan. I'm not trying to make this "active" title hard to achieve, it's just supposed to filter out the people that truly have nothing of value to add with their vote.

StevenNL2000 The way I see it is that it's a balance of both. The discussion is important but so are the votes. That's why based on this policy acceptance isn't purely based on the vote ratio or the discussion alone, they are all factors that the EAO takes into consideration when reviewing an application.

Miwojedk The reason I have it set up like this is that I personally don't think a person who has no involvement or interaction with the server can honestly formulate an opinion that is worth forming a vote from. The application contains little to no actual evidence of a user's ability to administrate, that is gathered by actually seeing the applicant in-game or having interactions with them. Therefore, as an active member of the community, you will be able to some extent to have that, at least a lot more than someone who isn't.

Bump - edited the senior process to include a Senior Voting round which is a discussion-based voting round

    • After those 14 days, voting is halted. The votes are counted by the Executive Admin Officer, the application that pass the minimum threshold then move on to the Senior Voting round, where a discussion-based voting process will begin.
    • This process will last up to 7 days where the applicant is reviewed by the Senior Admins and a conclusion is determined based on the qualitative information gathered by the votes in this round and the public voting round. Based on this, the applicants who pass are announced and the ones who don’t are privately messaged with a list of things to work on decided during the Senior Voting round.

Please join me in congratulating @"RedEastWood"#47 and @"shdwo"#94 for achieving the rank of Senior Admin! This is a great achievement and they have both worked hard for this rank.

Both of their applications were unanimous approvals. Congratulations!

Unfortunately, you did not reach the required 85% approval threshold currently required for approval. Your application reached 65% approval with a total of 26 Vouches and 14 Objections.

I think you are very close, you may reapply in 30 days.

Prioritising rocket league… I see. If you don’t hit SSL you won’t be allowed to reinstate ever.

    Thanks for your time homie
