This has been how procedure always has been, I'm not sure if a post used to exist that outlined this in a policy or not, but it makes sense to limit the ability to Admins only.
Indefinite ban requests are supposed to be for when an Admin feels an OP deserves a punishment that is a step-up from a regular 24-hour ban. OPs frankly do not have access to the same resources that Admins do (Punishment history, admins usually keep tabs on players as that's their job, warnings from other admins, etc.) in order to come to a reasonable conclusion as to whether someone deserves an indefinite ban (in most cases). And if they do, they can always ask an admin to post it for them. -
@darkes_#1692 Nowhere on the conduct policy are they out ruled - the case is different for admins, however.

Category 4 - Indefinite Suspensions
a. Any attempt to harm the server.
• Participating in grief teams, spambotting the server, co-operating with rogues, DDoSing, and other actions
that prevent the server from functioning normally.
• Bypassing or attempting to bypass server security controls. This includes but is not limited to attempting to download files which are not intended to be downloaded, the use of social engineering / similar to gain access where you would not otherwise be permitted such accesses or similar.
b. Extreme cases of malicious power abuse.
• Mass punishing operators, locking down the server without valid reasoning, and other actions that prevent players that have not broken any rules from using the server.
c. Extreme griefing.
•Griefing a large amount of builds on the server, using difficult to trace commands or methods to grief e.g. falling blocks, lag machines.
d. Posting links or spread of illegal content
• Child pornography, stalking, fraud, and other content intended to harm others.
e. Doxing any member of the Total Freedom community or using Total Freedom's platforms as a means to spread a DOX.
f. Granting operators access to administrative resources.
• Logs, telnet port, panel credentials, and any other access that is available to admins but not to operators.
g. Attempts to frame any member of Total Freedom to portray acts they did not commit.Category 3 - Temporary Suspensions
a. Minor griefing.
• Griefing in small amounts that would classify as a day ban for operators.
b. Posting links to graphic content on any Total Freedom platform.
c. Minor cases of malicious power abuse.
• Misuse of muting, caging, smiting, and other administrative control actions.
d. Use of automatic macros to perform administrative tasks.
e. Use of exploits that harm the server or its players.
• An exploit is an unintended gameplay mechanic. If the exploit item kicks you or other players from the server it may jump to an indefinite suspension.
f. Extreme signs of bigotry
g. Breaking the TOS of any Total Freedom platform.
h. Repeated violation of any rules listed under Category 2Category 2 - Formal Warnings
a. Refusing to adhere to fellow admins.
b. Participating in flame wars using any Total Freedom platform.
c. Use of a tag that would imply you are of higher authority then what you are.
d. Misleading the Admin Officer and server statistics about your activity.
• AFK-pools, auto-connecting once you've been disconnected, repeated reinstatement's after being re-added.Category 1 - Informal Warnings
a. Spamming on any Total Freedom platform.
b. Showing signs of bias that affects your administrative work and judgment.
c. Not respecting others' privacy.
d. Disturbing the general peace on any Total Freedom platform.Notes:
• Total Freedom platforms include the forums, discord, and in-game.
• Repeated violation of any category may result in stricter sanctions.
• If you are suspended for any infraction you may not regain your full rank.
• This list is not all inclusive nor is it definite. In most cases I will be lenient with the policy. As with any policy, I am highly supportive of any changes, mistakes, or criticism you see or may have.

@redeastwood#1605 Who said AFK Pools aren't allowed?

@redeastwood#1604 The visibility is weird in dark mode

With the wipe of the old forum, we lost the forum moderator polls.
I, unfortunately, do not have access to the old applications but hopefully we can still vote on the applicants.

2 - Your Discord Username & ID (Isn't a requirement but if you've got it it'd be useful to know):
elmon#6023
3 - Your previous experience, please do provide links if it's open-source, or if not talk us through it:
These are my two current projects
https://github.com/Elmon11/KeroBot
https://github.com/Elmon11/TotalFreedomBotBoth coded in python
They're both on the TF discord and can be tested with if anyone is interested.4 - A short bit about why you want to become a developer for TF.
Ever since the old server files got deleted and, along with it, the discord bot, I have been working on re-creating it and improving what it was as much as I can. I have since received the old discord bot code which enabled me to incorporate some of the old features but I can confidently say that the vast majority of the bot is my code. When the server was on a temporary host I set up the bot to work from telnet as a temporary measure in order to enable admins to continually be able to use the bot from discord. I have been working with Wild in order to enable the bot to start/stop/kill the server to prevent downtime, which we eventually got working. I want to continue developing for TotalFreedom in terms of discord integration for the foreseeable future. -
@ThePyroManActualAccount#1351 This suggestion has nothing to do with NFSW
-
@eso#1334 it's not against TOS you need an NSFW channel though...
ThePyroManActualAccount This post is essentially saying to allow posting links (which is because the rules are written badly right now)

@Luke#1335 Not because he had an ulterior motive lol. Please enlighten me as to what the shady motive here was? He wants to chat as OPs? Oh no please jail that man!
I'm just saying he probably didn't think it through no need to throw around ridiculous accusations...
-
@Luke#1323 With all due respect how the fuck does he have some ulterior, "shady" motive when adding back a command that has been in TFM for years? lol? I don't agree with it being back but it's clearly not shady lmfao he probably just thought it would be a good idea to bring it back. It's not like the command was removed by a vote or something it was literally randomly removed by seth.

@Telesphoreo#1330 But it's broken, so no, it's not. And if the bot were to ever fail like it consistently has been, it means we don't have a single point of failure. Right now we pretty much have to rely on an executive being online.
The bots work fine now by the way.

The discord rules are far from perfect, but nowhere in rule 1f does it say posting links isnt allowed.
Edit: Scratch that, the wording is retarded. Just remove the part in brackets

I think the rules need a rewrite anyways.

This has been suggested before. Apparently it's just a toggle that needs to be turned off. I vouch to have it default to off and only be turned on when the server is lagging ( and automatically turn off after a set period of time ).

What date were you appointed to Admin? (MM/DD/YY). Required 15-month active participation from your Administrator promotion date. (If you were appointed to Super Admin, state when you were appointed to Super, not telnet)
Super Admin - 08/02/2015
Unlike Admin, Senior Admin is primarily a leadership position and you must be able to lead other admins in a mature manner and be a responsible representative of Total Freedom. Provide a paragraph of your accomplishments and why you think you'd made a good Senior Admin.
Ever since my return in March, I have been incredibly active in the community. I have a great deal of contribution to suggestions and helping newly appointed admins. Before I was appointed as Assistant Server Liaison, I had trained multiple admins upon their return or new appointment to their position. It was due to my suggestion that Admin Crews were re-introduced, granted that the project was a failure, it still allowed me to further train and support members of the community. After my appointment as Assistant Server Liaison, I had regularly hosted events and such in order to maintain community engagement. During this time, I also aided Seth and the rest of the executive team in the setup of the MyBB Forum as well as with other projects such as the rewrite of the conduct policy. I have since been appointed as Assistant Admin Officer, in which I have had to display leadership qualities, which I believe transfer over to qualities that a Senior Admin should have.
How often will you be able to perform administrative duties? (Including the server, forum, and discord.) State either daily, several times a week, once or twice a week, or less than once a week.
Very active daily on discord and the forum.
On the weekends in-game.Names of administrators that have recommended you. (3 required)
Rhymix
fionn
Darth
Luke
squareIf anyone else wishes to recommend me - please DM me on discord
Have you read and understood the note(s) below? (Yes or no).
Note 1: If an admin asks you a direct question, you should reply. If an admin objects and give reasons that you believe are incorrect, you may reply to state why you believe the reasons are incorrect; do not rage or get dramatic - just state facts and do not reply more than once; no debates.Yes, I understand.

@wild1145#991 This is something that has to be done from TFM-End similarly to how the #server-chat works. I don't know the java for it so I can't exactly do that. I can set up a temporary solution that uses telnet but it would be far from perfect.
