↩ characterslimits That is one of the solutions that was was suggested but not implemented. I am aware of the things that we COULD do, but simply ignoring the posts is not a very good option. There are too many being posted every day for them to be ignored. It is an issue that needs to be addressed not ignored.

↩ characterslimits The solution isn't simply just to ignore the posts. This spam & drama issue is relatively new because we had falling threads on Proboards. Many REAL solutions that do not involve just ignoring the posts have been presented but never implemented. That is partly due to this shitty forum software. Most of the shitposting that is done in S&D can be taken elsewhere. A joke here and there is fine, but not when all of the important threads are being pushed down because there are too many S&D threads.

The things I read on this forum truly concerns me sometimes.
-
@Fleek#18500 That still doesn’t mean we can’t contact them for support. If they can fix the issues, then great! If not, then it was worth a try.

@wild1145#18418 I don’t understand why you are making it more complicated than it needs to be. Steven literally just said he would do it himself. You can throw a couple of extra seniors or executives on the team and it'll be done within a few days. Just tell them what to do. The permissions cannot be that difficult to fix, it is Proboards for god's sake.
-
@wild1145#18412 The forum was open for a long time before you decided to close it and I do not recall any security threats stemming from that. A few weeks to a month is understandable, but 5 months of keeping like 90% of this server's history closed off to the public is just not okay. As I said 4 months ago, this type of job could be easily allocated to someone else or a small group of trusted people.

@Madea#18407 Anything that does not include sensitive data, then sure, but to open the forum right now would pose 0 security threats. As Steven said above, Him, Wild, and Finest are the only ones with permissions on the forum. That means any board that is hidden (such as the admin lounge) will stay hidden to those without perms (which is everyone except the three listed above).

It has been over five months since this was posted, so I am going to go ahead and bump it again. At this point, there are no real excuses as to why this forum has not been properly archived and opened to the public. It'd be really appreciated if someone would just do it.

I don't use Discord as much anymore, so as long as it functions and doesn’t pull a Snapchat, then I could care less.

Though the article isn't terrible, it could have probably been written better. Yes, SEO is important, but so is the content of the article (especially if it is being published on over 150 websites). Good SEO does not justify a half-ass written article. Other than that, nice job. This will definitely help gain some more exposure for the server.

Since everyone else is making it official, I am going inactive or "resigning" due to my life getting too busy. I am in the process of moving to a different state and getting ready to take some summer classes, then eventually start my second year of college. I'll still stick around on the forum and may pop in-game every once in a while, but I am unable to perform my administrative duties as of right now.
If you ever need to get into contact with me, Discord is the best method: Xenyfye#9747

It is meant to be like that. "Admins" is meant to be a category and you are supposed to post in the subcategories. When you post in just "Admins," it wouldn't have a tag.

I say we bring back the old website. It could use a little bit of touch ups to make it more modern looking, but it is way better than the current one.

@FloatingRedFox#11982 We could just make new player more aware of the rules on our Freedom servers vs. our anarchy server.
I think an issue with an anarchy server is the rules we already have for the Freedom servers. Would it be fully anarchy where people are able to say literally whatever they want like other anarchy servers? If so, would admins on the Freedom servers be restricted from participating in behavior like that? An anarchy server would still be a TF platform.
As for the version, I’ve played on both 1.12 and 1.16 anarchy servers. I personally have preferred 1.12. I don’t know much about the development, but I’ve heard that maintaining 1.16 would be a lot harder. It makes sense, since there are a lot more features.

@Telesphoreo#11978
Quote@Xen#11974 OPs were using it to bypass /tptoggle.
-
@wild1145#11966 I had made a thread about the command a while ago when Seth was still the owner because OPs were using it to bypass /tptoggle. I think Telesphoreo might have blocked it as a response.
-
@elmon#11316 When I made the proposal back when Seth's forum was still up, Steven seemed to understand what it meant and given Wild's experience, he may understand as well. It’s worth a shot.
-
Vouch, but again, I've made a suggestion that might not require us to completely hide the threads from "All Discussions."
-
I suggested a fix for them flooding "All Discussions" that came from the developers of Flarum when Seth was the owner, but it was never implemented.

@StevenNL2000#11120 Ah okay, thank you for the clarificaron. I thought it meant restricted access to the actual server and not just the MC server.
