RedEastWood no, that's an extension that's currently running on this forum.
i know because i assisted in setting it up when this was first spun up.

the yellow-beige notification bit at the top of the forum at times telling you that a thread has been updated is what pusher does. in a thread it (usually) will automatically update the thread and show the new post(s) without refreshing.

(if this wasn't an actual question, please let me know because i may have misunderstood you.)

i didnt even get a chance to join because i was sleeping lmao

nor was i actually aware of this going on pretty much until after i woke up, so yeah, please do work on your timing for announcing these..

man therefore we’re now at a risk of the waiting times for the server to start to increase.

Just going to point this out again (because it's been pointed out before), but that exact same thing was already an issue with the bot in the event it shat itself.

man there was literally no problem working with the bot.

This is also incorrect. There's been a few times where the bot has shat itself and there's only been two people to fix it.

I said this on discord and I'll say it again here

All I can say is that if y'all can offer a better solution that doesn't involve anything Ryan has already said he's not willing to do at all, please go ahead.

The reason why we're going with AMP as a panel, even if it's not completely ideal (and putting aside the constant requests for one), is that it actually met multiple requirements that other panels, like Pterodactyl did not.
If Pterodactyl (or again, any other panel) met the same requirements, we'd probably have gone with those instead.

For reference here are some of the things that were being looked at, that AMP currently has that Pterodactyl does not.
(Some things will be ommited if both panels support the same thing.)

Docker support being optional, not required. (I.E. you can choose whether or not to run your instances within Docker containers)

    An actual audit log system.
Pterodactyl has an audit log, but it's not fully implemented and only logs file manager actions (and not even within a GUI) -- AMP logs things like user logins, what command is ran, by what user, at what time/date.

This wasn't a direct requirement (rather optional), but LDAP support.

Both per-user permission management and group/role-bassd permission management.

    objection.

you keep asking people to vouch in server chat on discord and honestly have shown that you're impatient -- you've also failed to show that you have the maturity for this as of current.

iVacon part of that is that most job applications are first reviewed by a machine filter. most people don't get past that to begin with because, well, it's a computer following set parameters and is not capable of seeing past those parameters.

and the labor shortage thing is bullshit -- the reason why there's a labor shortage ain't because people "don't want to work" -- it's because people ain't getting paid enough and said people are fed up with it and striking until they actually get paid an amount that let's them live w/o working 2-3 extra jobs

at the point, the only reason why im around (other than administration and trying to help with actual server-server side things (i say trying bc ive only have the capability to do stuff with the skyblock server when needed, which rarely gets touched at all), would be the people.

ive got too many friends here n such to just up and leave, but given that, there's not much to do in-game that my brain would let me justify as a reason to get in-game.
