    Seniors were never a good example in my opinion. The biggest "perk" of being a senior was that you were essentially immune from being suspended unless you did something really dumb (illegal). The fact that there was an extra arbitrary and completely useless promotion between the ranks (telnet clan) also contributed to the way seniors were perceived.

    The Overton window has shifted, there are a lot of seniors, and a promotion means nothing except ryan is more likely to let you apply for an executive position and you get a couple extra commands. Over a year ago when I got accepted to senior, I logged on and saw the announcement and literally thought "cool anyways" and moved on. There is no difference and I highly doubt giving them extra features will change the culture around the rank, that ship has sailed.

    My philosophy regarding voting and the shop is this: We want players to vote, so we give them a reward for voting (coins). If coins are worth nothing (because there are so few shop items, or someone already has all the items or the items are not appealing) then players don't care and they won't vote. The reality is that most players won't vote out of the kindness of their heart. By player standards, it's not particularly easy (below ten seconds + there are several voting links) and if the reward is not interesting, they don't care.

    But I agree with @StevenNL2000#18400 that we need a distinction between a shop item and an everybody feature. Each type of feature available in the shop should be accessible to all players. The shop should be used to make "extra" cosmetics available. For example, the lightning rod is a blaze rod that can summon lightning with a cooldown. All players can give themselves a blaze rod, and all players can execute the command to summon a lightning bolt (as long as they don't spam it - equivalent to the timer cooldown on the shop item). Player particles were also brought up, so I'll use them as another example. What if we gave all players the command to access particle type A and B, and particle formation C and D - possibly rotating which types are available to all players each week to keep it fresh - but put particle type X, Y, and Z, etc in the shop for people to buy. That way, all players have access to some particles that get swapped around, but still leaving room to have reasonable cosmetics in the shop as an incentive for voting.

    @Madea#17767 you like where tf is going how?? you are being brainwashed and controlled by executives. dont be a jeb sheep, be a leader and SEE THROUGH THE CORRUPTION
    together we can bring better to tf like it used to be back before everything had a "vote" and stuff because we didnt need it.

    @Ivan#17804 lets go
    but we need to organize a rally to lobby for hacked client ownership rights. #MYCLIENTMYCHOICE
    yall can play vanilla if you want but dont take my freedom away, acting like hacked clients give viruses just to control us.

    @UnderTails#17787 i just dont want BIG EXECUTIVE to ruin everything. but now that the owner poll was rigged up so wild "won" it the server has been dying because of the big exec policies. #NOTMYOWNER #ENABLEWHITELIST

    The other day, I logged on to discord in the morning to message my friends. I actually didn't notice at first (for some reason) but I was sent a screenshot and tbh I was extremely shocked and frankly upset. I know some people say it's an extreme overreaction to care so much but I guess some people have different levels of "extreme" because in my mind my thoughts and annoyance were (and still are) justified. I get where the people who say I'm overreacting are coming from because to many it seems like such a minor thing, and maybe I am overreacting about it but ugh I just can't fucking bear to look at it. It's kinda hard to spot what's out of place at first, but it's like one of those things where once you see it it's impossible to be fine with it.

    Where I stand -
    OP rights: Ops are treated same to admins now, so I dont know why everyone keeps bringing it up acting like all us admins are abusive. saying we are is abusive so your hypnocrits. all players matter.

    Plugins: Back in my fucking day we didntt get no new fun features every other day. we players worked with what we had it was hard work but we made fun. now you have a bunch of damn new players running around making suggestshuns every second begging for more free random plugins. and the worst part is the executive team usually approve them even though all they does is let lazy players have fun without putting the actual work in like we did back in the day. the executive team is taking our freedom away by putting these new plugins. YAY for big executive! NOT!

    Rules: To have a good server, you need STRICT rules. no rules you have no server. if someone griefing? Ban them. Someone deleted warps? Ban them! Ive been saying for years that TF really needs more rules the ops are out of control. If someone is saying stuff about my mom or size of my cock they should be banned. i have been on TF for ages and should be freed from all the rules but be able to punish others for breaking them. and punishments

    Punishments: a lot of players complain about the punishment system here on TF. The ops cry about unfair bans, mutes, kicks, smites, and anything else they think of. The reason their actually mad is cause they cant get away with breaking the rules. Well GUESS WHAT! admins cant either, if we break rules we get suspended but if a random player breaks rules they usually get warning. WHY! because their ops and op rights?? it isnt the admins fault a player looks like their gonna grief a bit and we ban them. mistakes happen saying all admins are abusive cause one is sometimes is abusive. we protect the server from bad and the only thing that we get is demotion.

    and im happy to say that markbryon will be resupered to owner on june 3rd in a couple weeks so make sure your their with friends to support. #NOTMYOWNER!!

    @videogamesm12#17378 Except back in the months leading up to Windows' resignation, there was a suggestion regarding the marriage plugin that had around nine pages and large majority vouches. It was ignored for months until after Windows resigned. Adding a plugin that the vote is in favor of is not corruption.

    I actually object. It's difficult to obtain enough coins to buy the clownfish, and if someone abuses it the easiest solution is to take it away from them (you can revoke their access to it so they would no longer own it in the shop).

    A while back I approved a suggestion for voters to get a colored name in the tab, which would be maintained by voting daily (if players didn't vote after a certain amount of time the color would go away). A little something for voters to stand out and for others to say "how did you get the colored name?" but not to the point where it was in your face.
