I have always noted that sporadic unplanned events tend to do much better than planned events. I don’t have any suggestions just wanted to point this out

This whole event is so played up its hilarious. If aqua was genuinely embarrassed by the situation they have the ability to leave the server. The fact that participants are writing paragraphs apologizing for throwing minecraft eggs at Aqua is actually so funny to me. At most this warrants a warning to kanst and nobody else.
I completely disagree with this suspension.

I wanted to make a thread where people could list some of their personal talents and what they plan on doing in life (career wise). Thought it would be interesting to see some of our members qualities and future goals lol
I'll start,
I have always been especially drawn to artistic and creative works. I'm not exactly great at drawing or anything but after getting into development last year, I have found myself to be pretty good at front end related design. I'm currently learning more about react, typescript, and the MERN stack. I also want to get into web development freelance in the near future and thats what I currently plan on doing with my career.

Regarding a NATO reaction over chemical weapons, I think we are playing a game of chicken with Putin. Its highly likely that either side will reach a "tipping" point if this situation doesn't deescalate fast. If Putin begins to further commit war crimes against Ukrainian civilians without backlash, we put him in a position of power. I think the significance of this situation rests solely on how far Putin is willing to violate the international human rights law.

↩ Tozzit That's unfortunate. I guess the only approach to this problem would be to make a simple web wrapper that would display my music player as a native iOS app (using the global media player). Haven't really dug into apple development so that would be a hassle to pull off. Thanks for the info tho

I am working on a music player web app. On android and desktop platforms, the autoplay feature (skip to next song or play a related song) works just fine. On iOS, when a new audio file is loaded into the html audio element, the audio being played by safari (or any other browser) is cut off and the OS integrated media player displays "Not playing". The skip function simply sets the audio src attribute to a new url audio.src = url;, loads audio.load(); and plays the song audio.play();. Are there any browser settings I can change or workarounds I can implement in the front end javascript?

This is stupid. Under Seth people complained about his chaotic ownership, now under Ryan people complain about his no bullshit approach. Ivan impersonated as an employee of Atlas and Ryan reacted. It could be debated if an indefinite ban was a justified punishment to a stupid joke (and the rest of Ivan's numerous offenses), but there was still reason behind it. This is going to do nothing but escalate a situation that shouldn't even exist.

I genuinely feel like you vouch on many applications for these same vague reasons. This is not to attack your votes but rather to ask that you consider them more carefully. This specific example where you vouch for this “active” user, when it is clear they are not.
I have seen multiple votes from many members that don’t seem to have much thought put into them. Nobody is obliged to vote. If you don’t want to take the time to consider a vote, you don’t need to. I think it is in the communities best interest that we promote quality voting over a larger quantity of votes.
