↩ RedEastWood no need as there is no way he would miss this post (or any post)
Even then, we’ve pinged mods in the past for this stuff and it’s standard practice.

↩ characterslimits If it was poorly engineered someone would have found a way to illegitimately get Forum Admin by now.
not everything is about power
it’s poorly engineered in the usability sense too. the fact that i have had to open a thread 5 times to mark it as read is just not right, it shouldn’t have a glitch like this. i had to like and unlike a post in said thread just now to see if that will work.
flarum is such a bad forum software, it lacks what we need as a community and let’s not forget the ban only system

I like where this suggestion is going, but it brings up a major concern.
What could we do to prevent users from running this command on existing builds?

Notes:
This is a list of dates to add to this thread.
If you have any dates to add to this thread or comments about it, please reply below.
One of the dates I've not been able to get is Hanukkah for 2022, as different places on the Internet have different dates. If anyone who celebrates Hanukkah could get the date it would be really helpful.
I could not find anything for August. If anyone has any dates for August please provide them in the replies below.

I think a set number with a 0 at the end would be better, like 30, 40 or 50. Flatlands is at y50. Just seems nicer.
Also I know that probably isn’t what you’re looking for but I think it’s worth saying.

I didn't even realise this was about TF's 11th Birthday, even after reading this thread, until Nick said Happy Birthday in chat.
I'm gonna be honest, this event really should have been held over the weekend, and announced early. The reason for this is because people have things like school and work on weekdays and we could've actually had a proper celebration on a weekend. The event should've been announced early too so people could book time away. We discussed this in admin chat and individuals said they'd even book days off for this event. I would also like to add that you initially had plans to set the start time of the event for the time you come home from school (this was said in admin chat).
It also seems like there's been no involvement of the ECM (who manages retention in the community) and the EMM (who manages the marketing of our community). Instead, it looks like the event was held by the ECD team. The one thing I don't understand is, why weren't the other Executives involved? Were they even asked to be involved?
Other than that, I hope this event went successful.
Happy birthday to TotalFreedom I guess...

Out of interest, is English your first language? If not, what is your native language?

there was literally no problem working with the bot. people over exaggerated the issues with it and didn’t just learn to put up with it.
thanks to whoever pushed for this we now have an admin team who won’t even be able to restart the server, therefore we’re now at a risk of the waiting times for the server to start to increase. hope you’re all happy.

Suggestions are ideas that are put forward to benefit TotalFreedom's various platforms. The benefit of suggestions is that it gives the community the chance to give ideas they have, from the Freedom Game-mode to our Website. Suggestions have been a large part of our community for many years.
Suggestions are not the same as bug reports - to file a bug report please click here.
The creation of this thread is due to recent suggestions lacking detail or not following the usual format. I've made this guide as there aren't any available right now.
How do I make a suggestion?
1) Click the 'Start a Discussion' button in the top left:
2) Click the 'Choose Tags' button. Select 'Suggestions', highlighted below:
3) Select the platform that your suggestion is for:
If you are suggesting an idea for something on 2 or more platforms, select the 'Multi-Platform / Other' option.4) Name your suggestion. To make a good suggestion name, just simplify your suggestion into your title. To do this, take the subject of your suggestion out, such as commands or guilds, and use it in your title. An example of a suggestion title is 'Add a mod system to guilds'
5) It's time to write your suggestion. You can do this however you want - some like to write a big paragraph, whilst others like to write 3-4 paragraphs. Include benefits, why you want your suggestion to go through and how your suggestion will work. You don't need any coding knowledge.
An example for the suggestion named in Step 4:
CodeThis suggestion is to add a moderator system to guilds. A benefit of having a mod system for guilds is that if a guild owner goes inactive, the moderators can still manage the guild. The system will have four commands: /g addmod - add a moderator to the guild /g ban - ban someone from the guild /g kick - kick someone from the guild /g removemod - remove a moderator from the guild Guild Moderators will be chosen by the guild owner. Thoughts?I've posted my suggestion, what happens now?
Once you've posted your suggestion, don't expect an outcome instantly. Suggestions can take days to weeks to get accepted, and months to get developed. After posting a suggestion, a Jira ticket will most likely be opened by Wild1145, the owner. Jira is a project management tool, currently used by our developers. To find more information, such as tracking your ticket, click here.
Do's and Dont's
Do:
- Include detail in your suggestion
- Respond to voters that have other opinions in a calm manner
- Follow the forum guidelines
Don't:
- Make a poll on your suggestion
- Respond to ALL replies
- Make 'multiple suggestion' threads
I hope this guide has helped you. If I've missed anything, please post a reply below.
