Recently, I've noticed that the expected bi-weekly events haven't been taking place. I've also found out that many of the Event Host team members have actually resigned, too, and they have their reasons. Because of this, there have been no events hosted (by the team) for TF's birthday and Christmas and no events planned for New Years'.

A lesson from a quote by Video, that I don't know word for word, is that it's better to make changes than to complain. That is why I've decided to make an offer to the team, as well as anyone that wishes to join the team. For those interested, I'm willing to put some time into providing training and to give you guys a chance to look at my expertise in hosting events. This will hopefully prevent the mass removal of the Event Host team that the ECM is planning, too.

Please reply below if you are interested. I really would like to see Events taking place again.

@'FT ' are there any main hosts? i assume wxtermelon.

It’s just me hosting it with the help of Tizz. The only reason this event is being hosted is because none of the event hosts have bothered to host a New Years Event and a lot of them have resigned too. I feel that everyone deserves to know the truth and that is the truth.

@'FT ' is there an anticheat figured out for this to prevent flying? if so has it been tested?

We don’t use anticheats on Freedom-01. We stick to regions, which work pretty well, if I’m honest.

@'FT ' are there specific rules, such as no hacks? i assume yes, but it’s nice to specify because rules differ across events.

Usually, there’s no hacks allowed at events. This will also be the rule for this event.

matscalle We already have a TF UN... it's called the TFGU. It's not official but it's currently the biggest form of union there is for TF's guilds...

(Unless I'm missing something and this is a roleplay?)

Hello everyone! As part of New Years Day celebrations, I'm hosting an unofficial spleef event for New Years Day. This time round, we're going to feature different things, like falling lava, as well as random item drops throughout the game too. This is a Limited Edition event, meaning that this may be the only time this event runs!

    Location: Freedom-01
    Date: Saturday, 1st January 2022
    Time: 6PM GMT

Good luck to those who come to the event!

Date and Time (please include the timezone):
    12:52 GMT, 25th December 2021

    Describe the bug or exploit:
If a user has a recent IGN change, when PMing said user with NetworkManager, their old username comes up. An example I did was with quack95, who recently changed his IGN to pixlrq. When I PMed him today, this happened:

    Plugin(s) impacted:
Just a guess, but probably NetworkManager.

    Expected behaviour (if known):
I don't understand this question, sorry.

    Step to reproduce:
    1) Run/pm username message - put a username of someone that changed name recently, such as pixlrq.

    Server where the bug occurred:
Freedom-01. I've heard from @"Yurni"#313 this is happening in the hub too.

Can the bug or exploit be reproduced on another server within the network?
    The hub.

    Notes:

I've had a little guess and I'm just assuming it's gonna take time to update. I think it's all usernames changed in the past month, but I'm not too sure.

In a suggestion like this, it's better to name a server, so others can visit said server and get an idea of what you mean.

    Neutral.

I don't know what else you could do, to be honest. I'd be really impressed though if you got them to work on something.

There's already been loads of discussions about the MB team slacking, and there's even been discussion of MB just being a title to hold, not a rank to serve in.

erin i don’t see the point in filling out the format provided the screenshots contain the evidence. For a start, I couldn’t find a format but looked through a few reports you made back in the day to guess what it was.

Thanks for letting me know - I've filed a support ticket in the Discord now.
