Banning abortion doesn't stop abortions. It just stops safe abortions. Someone who really wants to abort a pregnancy is going to abort that pregnancy.. even if they have to put their own life in danger to do it.

Especially right now more than most times, due to the huge inflation, it's hard enough for many people to keep themselves afloat without the huge cost of having and raising a child. A back alley procedure from an untrained amateur for a one time payment.. or even something one does by themselves is going to be seen as a much more viable option than going through with the pregnancy.

All in all.. I see this as a step backwards.

Ideally, in my eyes event hosts should just be front end - if we start evaluating panel access and server access and all of these permissions they must be trusted with, it walls the role off.

Instead of looking for individuals who are passionate enough about the server to volunteer their time, we'd instead be looking at people who we can trust and are capable with server access. Things like this are going to get brought into the voting process.. and considering all of these prerequisites, we might as well be restricting it off to staff members.

I feel instead of fixing the problem by increasing the level of responsibility the role would partake, we should instead improve the communication between the event hosts and those with access to the events server.

Even without server access, we're looking event hosts to put a lot of time and effort into volunteering for this server. Piling on more responsibility and requirements to an already unrewarding position due to how tough it is to host a good event.. it's just gonna make things worse in the long term.

uvb no one likes him. He’s the biggest nuisance on that discord

Bro this is way too harsh like wtf he's still a kid so obviously he's gonna act like one. He's clearly smart and just needs to mature. 13 year olds are gonna act like 13 year olds.

Vouch. I banned him from discord and requested he be banend from the forum but the convo kinda fizzled out.

xPkz_ there's nothing in the rules that states ban bypassing is allowed if the persons just going to bypass again. It's best to nip shit like this in the bud.. the dude didn't even try to hide on the forum and it went on for so long and he got so relaxed that he eventually joined the discord and spoke in VC with his own voice.

When I first got Minecraft I was just 10 years old, and it was one of the first few games I properly played. I tinkered around in creative mode for most of my time, following with many of Flabaliki's redstone tutorials.

And then a few weeks later, 1.5 dropped. An update entirely revolved around redstone. New content in a game I'd already paid for was something completely new to me, and the fact the content was based around the one main thing I enjoyed doing most in the game. The impact that had on me was second to none.

I'd also say, although I may be biased, that the update is still up there in terms of the quality of the content it introduced to the game. I would only rank the nether update above it.

videogamesm12 Literally said shit like “OHHHH I FEEL IT COMING” right before the raider showed up on multiple occasions

I aspire to have this level of confidence in life, to so smugly "predict" raids that are well known to be originating from a group chat that you're known to be in and still denying everything.

With all due respect, when you're pushing for something as strongly as this, you kinda need to know what you're talking about.

This is one of the things that has worked to convince you that this client is harmful, yet this is just the garbled text when you open any kind of non text file using a text viewer. I can empathise that the garbledness may look scary, but it's meaningless. If you open any image on your computer using notepad you'll see something similar.

I don't know this stuff very well either, but the evidence sent here first of all is that it says discord in the code and when you open the file in the wrong program it shows a garbled result. I don't feel the people involved in this understand what they're trying to look for and accusations like this are quite brash without any actual proof.

From what I can gather, the clients only users are members of Moles LLC as it's a private client.

And as pointed above, this seems to just be code from discords rich presence.

Edit: first point proven wrong nvm

This is a picture of the house in question before you joined the server yesterday.

And this is a picture of the house after you left.

Inside the house, you gave yourself a room, changing the furniture as well as a sign outside the door. But the real kicker for me is that the house was fully built and each room fully furnished long before you showed up. It wasn't something you collaborated on save for you claiming one of the rooms and I couldn't find any chat logs of you talking to the builder. This is all less than 1,000 blocks of spawn as well. so it's a build anyone can stumble across.

And personally, the main issue as highlighted in these screenshots is the among us builds you broke, which had all been placed before the house was constructed. So the builder of the house was clearly fine with them being there. In other words, destroying those among us builds was what got you banned for griefing.

All that said, I don't feel this is conclusive enough to force you to remain banned any further, so I am going to unban you now. Please, in future be careful when you are dismantling or modifying other people's builds.

The verification channel in the discord was removed yesterday, you'll be glad to hear.

It was an okay system on paper, but was just awkward that we may have had to interrogate someone who didn't have a MC account/hadn't joined tf.

It did have its uses, I guess I just didn't exactly enforce it properly and felt weird to enforce.

The main thing I take away from all of this is that I'm glad the UK doesn't allow filming in the courtroom. This case has been glamorised quite a lot, mainly by social media. I've seen people talking of Heard as if she were a saint, and people talking of Depp as if he were a saint, when neither seemed to have been shown in a good light.

I do obviously agree in general that male domestic abuse victims need to be heard, and from what I've seen, Depp winning this civil case will help with that. But I didn't follow the case's details closely enough to comment on where I thought it should've went.

Fair enough, I understand the issues about why mentally unstable could be seen as offensive to some. I personally have never seen it that way, but I'm only speaking for myself in that regard.

I still want the role to remain as a little tongue in cheek. I feel it's one of the few ways this server doesn't take itself incredibly seriously, with a sort of kamikaze insult directed at both the server and those who play on it most (and if you're here enough to qualify for the role, you understand the humour behind it) - but none of the suggestions in these original post are something I'd be happy replacing it simply because they're not as good, and diluting it with something like "Regulars" is something I abhorrently am against.

    Object.

What is your Minecraft name and time zone where you normally are online? (e.g. GMT+1:00 or MST). Your Minecraft name must match your forum name or your Minecraft name must be in your forum profile.

What date were you appointed to Admin? At least 12 months of active participation must have passed since your initial promotion date.

    June 2 2021

Unlike Admin, Senior Admin is primarily a leadership position and you must be able to lead other admins in a mature manner and be a responsible representative of Total Freedom. Provide a paragraph of your accomplishments and why you think you’d made a good Senior Admin.

During my time as admin, I've developed confidence, critical thinking and leadership skills as I've learned on the job and used the experience I've gained by participating in the community to further my efforts to make it a safer and more enjoyable place for those of us within here. This includes helping out the community in any way I can - in October I was appointed as assistant admin officer, a position I still hold to this day, which helped me broaden my skills of leadership, working with others alongside me and making decisions which were often difficult to make. I've also been entrusted with reviewing not only admin applications but also the hub moderator applications - something which has tested my critical thinking abilities when it comes to weighing up arguments either side, with as little bias as possible.

All in all, I've given a lot to this community in my time here and I feel I've sufficiently proven myself to be capable.

How often will you be able to perform administrative duties? (Including the server, forum, and Discord). State either daily, several times a week, once or twice a week, or less than once a week.

I have a daily presence on the discord and forum, and I'm able to get in-game several times a week.

Names of Senior Admins who have recommended you. You are required to have at least 1 recommendation.

Have you read and understood the note below? (Yes or no).

    Yes.

Note: If someone asks you a direct question, you should reply. If someone objects and give reasons that you believe are incorrect, you may reply to state why you believe the reasons are incorrect; do not rage or get dramatic - just state facts and do not reply more than once; no debates.

Note from me: this has been edited right after posting to fix up some of the markup.
