  • Weather stations?

    ↩  Telesphoreo predicting the weather isn't easy - it's a job you require a degree for. It's a literal profession that one gets paid rather handsomely for to work full time in.


    You can't just jump into this because your forecast is slightly wrong, this is something people basically dedicate their lives to.

    I'm no expert but I don't think it's possible to set up your own weather station without a fuck ton of knowledge about what's going on and/or an amount of money ending with "million" to your name.


    You are asking a load of teenagers on a Minecraft server about buying and running a weather station, just saying.

  • Enable item drops for ops

    Anyway yeah, the ability for ops to drop items should be implemented imo.


    Item drops are already purged very regularly and automatically and players who want to annoy others would just place a chest and fill it then break it.


    I can't really see why item drops should continue to be blocked given those points.

  • The October 2020 Server Deletion as it happened

    the fact that the penultimate message ever sent on the server was "TF IS FUCKED" is lowkey chilling ngl. Imagine being there, sending that and then all of a sudden you get kicked for "server closed" and by the time you open up discord, it's probably gone.

    I fucked my exams due to lack of motivation throughout the school year. Talking with a friend made me realise that my combination of poor eating habits, struggling for motivation even in tasks I would enjoy (like playing games etc) and the obvious lack of doing any schoolwork for the past 7.5 years may be severe depression.


    Never talked with someone I know in real life about any mental health issues I have. But tomorrow I have a student support meeting and I'm going to explain everything and hopefully get referred to mental health services.

    This appeal is invalid because you didn't use the format but I'm going to go and ahead and assume you did use the format and respond accordingly.


    You were banned days ago.. maybe? Swear this was added on Friday. So unbanning you now would just be a bonafide day ban which is much less than what you deserve.


    You haven't taken blame or accepted responsibility for any of the things multiple witnesses said you did, nor were you truthful at all. Allow me to dissect.

    Literally false. Your initial time on the server was spent griefing LeiChas rollercoaster, before you got into an entertaining argument on freedom-02. You then placed penises all around spawn and griefed spawn on freedom-02.


    The next day you started your usual form of trolling where you tried to bait another member of the server into breaking the rules, while trying to be as annoying as you could without breaking any rules (at least that's how you saw it, not once did you ever read the rules you were so adamant you weren't breaking.)


    This went on until I eventually filed your indef request which was accepted for a reason. At the moment you do not belong on this server.

    This is.. no excuse. Aside from server moderation I don't take this game seriously at all. Not being serious doesn't mean being a whopping dickhead to the entire community. You can have fun without that, right?

    Again, false. You were sanctioned on both freedom-01 and freedom-02 following word of your impending indefinite ban request for the same reasons you were getting sanctioned beforehand. Multiple senior admins oversaw the sanctions you received who are the highest ranking and most experienced members of staff on the server.

    I recommend you appeal in several months rather than after less than a week, or you could even wait a few years until you turn 13 to appeal.

    ↩  man all admins are asked to make sure our accounts are secure.


    Other admins also have tools in order to deal with possible rogues like saconfig remove etc.


    And as you said, the chances are very low of an account getting breached. They are even lower that the person who hacked the account knows they're staff on a Minecraft server.
