    ↩  Miasmus is the plugin designed for 1.12 or earlier? When building my skin statue I looked for an easy way to do it, a website offered it but said it didn't work after 1.12 or 1.13 because Mojang changed something which meant they couldn't grab your skin.

  • Blockedit doesn't seem to affect AWE

    Describe the bug or exploit: After their block modification privileges were blocked in order for me to attempt to dissuade them from further griefing, the player was able to continue using his worldedit brush to grief. Obviously this is going to cause problems as worldedit is a common tool used by players which may require their ability to modify blocks to be removed for whatever reason.
    Plugin(s) impacted: Asynchronous Worldedit + TotalFreedomMod.
    Expected behaviour (if known): Player is unable to use worldedit operations to edit blocks when blockedit is enabled.
    Step to reproduce: Blockedit a player and have them attempt to perform worldedit modifications

  • Crackshot trinkets

    I vouch for the removal of trinkets with the basis being that they offer no practical use aside from trolling players. My thoughts would be different if there was any other use to that one feature of the plugin - but due to explosions being disabled they're only going to be utilised for this and we might as well not give ourselves the extra effort in dealing with those who abuse it.

    Reason for disabling the plugin
    In recent days, players have discovered that they can fill another players chat using a booby-trap notification feature of the plugin. As time has passed the exploit has become more efficient as players have had time to use it. We're talking thousands of messages being sent to one persons chat per second, and a player mentioned he had found a way to hide his username from the chat notification. The feature was being used more frequently and to a higher degree so I decided to disable the plugin this evening.

  • Event suggestion: Random Items

    Alright let's do some maths.


    Firstly, diamonds to make the armour. You need 24 of them. You'd be expected to get 1 diamond after 25 minutes. All in all for the entire set of armour, you would be expected to be waiting 10 hours to collect your diamonds.


    So the drop rate of gold will mean you will be expected to get 1 gold ingot after around 27 minutes and 46 seconds of gameplay. This equates to an expected 7 hours and 24 minutes to get the required gold for all of this.


    Netherite has just a 0.1% drop rate. Its 9 times less likely than golden nuggets and 10 times less likely than diamonds to appear.


    You would be expected to wait 4 hours 10 minutes to get ONE netherite scrap. And for the whole set? 66 hours, 40 minutes. And that's all constant attentive gameplay - and in that time your inventory will have received 15,670 items that are completely and utterly useless, taking into the account the fact you will need to construct a crafting table and then a smithing table, all of which will be wrapped up in around 45 minutes.


    Since the goal is netherite armour, there's no point in doing anything aside from getting netherite armour. So this event would be 45 minutes in which we build a simple shelter and set up a smithing table, and then an average of 66 full in game hours of waiting. (could be 40 hours, could be 100 hours.)

    Will you be willing to assist the ECM in the hosting of events and how frequently: I would be willing to assist and help out in events wherever possible, and my activity hours are rather spread out - I should be free in some regard almost every day although working weekend shifts mean those are more difficult.

    Do you have any experience hosting events? A few years ago I hosted a few roleplay events on a discord server I owned, but that's it.
    Why do you want to be an Event Host? I have always wanted to help the server in any way I can, and I feel this is an opportunity for me to do so. In spite of a recent setback to my self control which I have worked on and improved myself with, I believe I generally show enough ability when it comes to handling and dealing with situations as they crop up in order to be able to deal with the pressures of running events sometimes.
