    I vouch.

This is a great system. The current system of needing to appeal to lift a ban works, but this would be an improvement. It gives the ban manager a lot more reason to be it's own role, a lot more purpose and makes life easier for the indefinitely banned players.

The severity of offences to get you on the indefinite bans list are not all cut from the same cloth, and this system is generally in place anyway - I'd say most people here already have a subconscious idea of how long they'd like a ban to last for different offences, like serial trolling would be shorter than server crashing etc.

Apologies for the... rather lengthy wait.

Reading back through everything again, this should technically have been denied about a year ago, since it can be assumed that you didn't manage the 3 hours within that week and it is an activity reinstatement. But we can't really tell for sure so I think an outright denial would be unfair.

I will be happy to reinstate you to your position with 3 hours of playtime within the next 7 days, as is normal with an inactivity reinstatement.

FromTimeToTime i wouldn’t be surprised if they were also matscalle, but i have no hard evidence to back that up. the two have a close relationship, very similar communication styles, and matscalle often randomly calls for anes’ unban. although they could just be good friends.

They are just good friends. I appreciate the concern due to their similar values and ways of acting but I have seen both on the server at the same time before all this, talking to each other and such.

I'm willing to give you a chance, but that being said I want to make sure of something - are you aware of and do you understand the reasons behind your ban?

@'Ryan' The ability for the bot to control the server will be fully retired and the panel will be the only way to administer the server going forward.

Admins are generally more active than seniors. I'm not taking any jabs at seniors, but in general the most active staff members here are admins. Restricting their ability to start and stop the server in the event where that's needed is going to cause either more downtime when someone crashes or stalls the server, or more inconvenience in the case that a routine restart is needed to fix an issue, such as worldedit completely breaking.

On top of this, adminconsole is very, very useful. It's something I use a lot to help keep the server safe when I'm not able to physically get in game. It's a lifesaver at times.

And I'm assuming IP based verification will be fully implemented before this? We can't tf!ac mv ourselves if it's still a thing.

I understand seniors are more trustworthy due to their 15+ months of active service to the server. But I don't think that should mean we take permissions away that admins were already entrusted with being able to use.

@'Ryan' Does this mean that, if the discord bot is retired, regular admins are unable to start/stop the server? Or will that feature of the bot remain a thing for us.

Edit: on second thoughts, there's also administrative commands that admins send via the bot that would also be restricted if it's retired and kept for seniors.

    Time for an actual response.

As others have explained the first one is already an open thread which you can comment on.

@'Anes' upgrade the servers lettraly if i was right you suck up all the servers in one Host
Create multi Hosts & Upgrade the memory

From what I've noticed anyways, server performance is usually fine. I don't think it's something we need to look at too closely. Obviously more memory and more powerful hosting (I don't understand this stuff at all) is better, I don't think it's in our list of priorities.

@'Anes' Update fourms skin that would be cooll

Do you mean like the appearance? I don't think flaurm allows for that, but we have a lighter mode if you want to see a brighter display of the forum.

@'Anes' list totalfreedom Players & currently online & banned & Etc

Having a total player list on the forum would not be a bad idea. The trouble is, flarum would probably not support it to well and I am really against the idea of a public list of banned players for all to see. Being banned from the server is enough punishment without making sure everyone in the community knows it.

matscalle As I said.. it's not about the time between different posts. You dropped an idea that was simply just a sentence with very little elaboration or explanation, then pinged two people in a separate post asking why they voted against your idea when you never really gave us much insight as to why we should vote in favour of it.

matscalle you shouldn't be making low effort posts, it's common sense not to put up a poll and then ping all of the people who voted against the idea.

The idea itself was barely elaborated on either. You were very vague on what the idea is, just a "Roblox version of totalfreedom".

It's not about how often you post it's about the content within those posts.
