Damn, will be missed. Good to see you continuing via discord.

I can assure you, I included the sanctions to be able to finally punish Lyicx for plagiarism, and not the other way around.
-
Elephant in the room - despite you not filling out the format, you aren't giving much reasonable reason to lift the ban. You did grief and thus I personally believe you should wait until it's lifted tomorrow morning.
-
Fwiw I wasn't the one who banned you but I've just done a double check - your ban was for griefing, and you destroyed over 7,000 blocks and were told by the person you were griefing to stop on a few occasions.

Object. A lot of effort would need to be put into it and I can't imagine it being worth it, if players running vanilla setups can't join.

Just ignore them.
QuoteLook - Steven honestly put it better than anyone else on his most recent appeal. He needs to show more accountability for the reasonings behind his ban, and not just assume that appeal = unban.

Vouch.
Worth noting the player was just on the server, but I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt with dynamic IP addresses and account changes.

Was a nice read, although I have to say the biggest note I need to make is how you remember all of this.

Changes 22nd November 2021
- Added additional application-related sanctions for plagiarism and lying on an application.

denied you suck

Reinstatement withdrawn. That being said, best wishes going forward.

↩ NotPetya a claim like that against a person involved in this situation was the reason why so many people wanted Rittenhouse locked up.
The whole lesson people need to learn from this case is that who was shot doesn't matter, and that who fired the bullet doesn't matter. What matters is how the situation played out at the time. And he acted in self defence. That's why I am happy with this verdict, not that people think he shot a nonce.

I personally object. Discord has a lot of people who just go through disboard and use your server to advertise theirs. I know it's happened in game but it's even more common on discord.

Denied.
This application not only fails to meet some of the requirements of the pre-application checklist, it also includes blatant plagiarism.
Quote3: Your forum account must be a minimum of 1 Calendar Month old prior to you making your application.
10: If you file an application with false information or copy somebody else's application, you'll be subject to forum sanctions.
13: Please ensure you have a personalized avatar for your forum profile - you'll be asked to add one if you neglect this.
Edit: Would like to draw your attention to this recent update in regards to your next application. However, as you posted this before that change, you are still able to post another application once your forum account is old enough, which will be in 30 days.

I object.
You reinstated believing the server you liked to play on was closing, so you might as well be an admin for the last few weeks. But those circumstances have changed, and you haven't committed yourself to the server.
I think it's personally a bad idea for you to feel pressured to come online and administrate when you are clearly not up for playing the server. If you don't wanna play here, that's fine. You're playing other games and that's fine. Trust me, don't worry about us. Keep playing and enjoying those other games without feeling obliged to come here.

We're comparing taking a picture of a 518 year old painting crafted by one of the greatest artistic talents to ever roam this earth to downloading an image which only exists digitally.
You can't take a picture of the delicate brush strokes required to pull a painting like that off, or take a picture of the immense history of such a renouned piece of artwork.
But when you click "Save as.." on an NFT, sure you don't actually own the image based on the blockchain, but you have a pixel perfect copy of the image.
No issue with any of your other points but I dislike drawing the comparison to valuable art and paintings.

Was he an idiot for going into a situation where he knew there'd be danger? Yes. But it doesn't make him guilty of murder.
Even if hes a racist or whatever he's being accused of being, it still doesn't change the fact that he was whacked over the head with a skateboard and had a weapon pointed at him.
He acted in self defence. His political views shouldn't matter. I don't care if he's a twat. He didn't go out there to kill people.
Not guilty.

To be fair here, the banana on the wall made headlines. It was crazy and it was such an outlandish criticism of modern art that it broke the news. Not every piece of art is like that (and one could argue the artistic value of the banana on the wall was how well it criticised modern art), you've still got valuable paintings that are worth lots because they were crafted and had dozens of hours put into them by a skilled artist. The most valuable paintings are usually those - artists are famous because they were good. Famous artists produced paintings we see as more valuable today.
The most valuable NFTs are either the monkey profile pictures or pixelart profile pictures that look like a toddler did them. Theres no actual artistic value to them, unlike the valuable paintings people so often compare them to.

↩ videogamesm12 oh and to add onto this, NFTs aren't legal ownership. You could buy an NFT of the bee movie script, but you don't own the bee movie script. You don't actually own it.
In all honesty to me, I'm less bothered by digital ownership and more bothered by the fact that most NFTs are just the same image of a monkey or the same pixelart dude except one thing is slightly changed. If it was used for genuine digital art maybe.

↩ videogamesm12 minimum of 12 hours
This definitely needs increased if they're just going to continue the argument via the forum.
