This is a thread about the incumbent prime minister of the United Kingdom and the current controversies surrounding his party.

Why has it devolved into the usual "haha America school shooting" "haha British no teeth" bickering we've already seen a thousand times?

I honestly enjoy prison servers personally, because mainly I play Minecraft to chat and talk with people. In the past I often played prison just to do something while I talked. I would like this but I'm not sure if others would.

I would argue this day and age, android and apple have never been closer and although I've always sort of thought it, I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Obviously as competitors they keep adding more features with every update, often copying each other from what I've seen (although that's not a bad thing). You can definitely get a user friendly and customisable experience no matter what phone you buy, although Android obviously has the budget smartphone market locked down which I think is where most android users started tbh.

I object to this, purely because I feel staff applications on any server should be announced publically that they are open with a proper structured and original format rather than a player privately asking the owner where to post his application. Let the owner make these decisions rather than making them for him based on your own wants.

And as ↩  RedEastWood correctly pointed out, the skyblock has yet to run into a situation in which a staff member is required. I don't feel they're necessary at all yet.

↩ @'wxtermelon' i don't see the point in filling out the format provided the screenshots contain the evidence. For a start, I couldn't find a format but looked through a few reports you made back in the day to guess what it was.

Just don't see the point in making someone write out information the screenshot already shows us. Also is there even an official format? If there is, it's rather hard to find.

Alright so I'm going to treat this as a bit of a suggestion and give my critique of it. Not against the idea of skyblock staff applications, but I feel this format could be a little edited.

This is obviously a good question to ask. Its good to be clear that staff applicants will follow the rules. But at the same time, these staff members are going to enforce those rules as well. It would be good to add to this something along the lines of them making it clear they understand the rules and such.

I don't believe this question is entirely relevant. I see where you're coming from - it's important to make sure potential staff members aren't breaking the rules they want to enforce. However, it's hard to set a boundary for something like this. An applicant who received a punishment within the past 5 days could easily just wait a few days then apply so they can answer "no" to this. The idea is there, but I feel it shouldn't be judged in that way.

I believe while having experience is important, I wouldn't be too desparate for it to be proved too much. Every community has different requirements to become a staff member so it's not too big of a deal to prove if you got mod on your friends server for example.

While an island show off thread would be cool, I don't think it has any place on staff applications. How good someone is at playing skyblock shouldn't exactly affect how good of a staff member they'd make. Especially as on skyblock the only really required moderation would be chat moderation. (there might be a few cases of island trusted members griefing or something, but would be uncommon).

He's spent quite some time on the skyblock and honestly there's some decent ideas in here. You obviously didn't read past the username of the person who posted it.

I don't actually believe the skyblock requires much moderation, if I'm honest. If everything works fine I'd say all we need are chat mods.

But for everything else, vouch.

You also did kind of join the discord on an account you've used here before with "Void" in your name, talked about a client which you seem to have made in your own name and then looked up your own account in server chat. Not to mention you'd used the account in server chat back in August. You didn't exactly make it difficult to work out who you were.

The decision to lie about your identity like that was a poor one and it's recent enough for me to object this time around, especially added on to the incident about a month ago.

↩  characterslimits I can see your point about not going back too far, but it's only a month. Not that long ago. I would argue recent enough of a meltdown to cause notable concern - it's a case of getting banned from one server, bypassing it, then going onto another server and getting banned then bypassing that.

I also did mention that just yesterday he impersonated as someone else to bypass his server ban.

Yesterday you joined the discord and pretended to be a friend of yours to bypass your server banned role.

Also this was just over a month ago. Not sure on the context as to why you were doing this in hub but from what I can see it seems you were banned from the events server for spamming then your alt was banned for bypassing that (and also spamming)

You seem rather quick to lose your head, such as has been seen with your admin and master builder applications in the past and even I would argue it applies to your ban.

I just don't feel it's time yet for you to return

Not to piss on the parade or anything but the skills I've picked up from interacting with and administrating the people of this server has helped me grow in other ways - it's no coincidence I started supervising in retail about the same time I became assistant admin officer.

I thought we had grown up from making these posts. I thought wrong.
