Naturally, it has become increasingly difficult to find old documentation about the server as things have progressed over time. However, despite the many years it's been since 2011-2012, we still have a handful of old documentation of the server at our disposal. You can often find them by searching up an old server IP address (e.g. 64.34.165.5:28965) or just simply "Minecraft Total Freedom". Among the many uninteresting forum posts and dead image links you'll come across, you'll uncover a few diamonds in the rough. Those are the ones that paint a somewhat decent picture of what the server was like during the early days of the server. If you're lucky, you might even find some names that you still remember. Here are some screenshots from various YouTube videos from 2011/2012 that I was able to find. Enjoy.
On a somewhat related note, a lot of information about the server has been lost over the years, and I sincerely hope that we put more effort into preserving as much documentation about the server as possible moving forward. What we have right now may not be of value right now, but it will be in the future. This has been the case for years, and I don't believe it will be changing anytime soon.
