Nick clean used to remove &k from nicknames. Instead it now removes everyone's nicknames. Is this intentional?

Does anyone have any info on if this is intended / desired behaviour or not?
-
It doesn't do this at all? It cleans nicknames, not clear them.

I can vouch for this, however it wasn't everyone's, it was only a select few

@Ashaz#13840 Did these nicknames consist mainly of things that would get cleared?
-
@videogamesm12#13842 I think the issue was with gradients, it seemed to wipe the gradients out of names- but instead of replacing them with additional char's, it deleted them completely.
-
@Shdwo#13843 Is it possible that this is related to the gradients themselves being a bit dark? I did it earlier and it cleared the dark part of my nickname but the other part was fine.

@videogamesm12#13858 TFM uses a mathematical approximation to determine if a color is "close to black". Maybe we need to play with the tolerances a bit.

FS-202 raised to address.
