@Darth#7568 i like howu you glance over the fact that it is far from succesful, then continue afterwards saying we should still do it lol
Let's add Pixelmon

So I have been thinking about this and have come up with a idea. What if we let whoever wanted to make there own gyms and towns. Some Pokémon regions have more then 8 gyms so we could have it that 8 badges are required to take on the league but its the trainers choice in terms of what badges they go for. It would add a interesting element if we let the region shape itself.

@excellentgamer1#6925 Why.. The fuck.. NOT?

A week from now is Pokémon day. There will probably be lots of Pokémon related stuff .I'm secretly hoping this will get approved/denied maybe on Pokémon day[I don't' think it will happen on that day due to the amount of testing needed but hey one can imagine.]

Vouch. I also would like to put forward the idea of making this SMP style too.
Pixelmon is a brilliant gamemode and it has a big market too. Can definitely help TF imo

Upon further research I have found that the latest pixelmon is 1.12.2 only. Would this still be functional on the network wild1145?

EG1 mentioned this in his thread, he also mentioned the only problem associated with it
Quote@excellentgamer1#6925 We would have the pixelmon server bungeed to the hub.
. This woudl be easy to do as all we would need to do to make the hub suitable is to add viaversion to it in order to make 1.12.2 forge clients able to connect.@excellentgamer1#6925 Another option is to have a direct ip that routes directly to the pixelmon server.
Servers on the network are connected via bungee and are therefor independent of each other. We have the capacity to have any sort of server we can come up with, and connect it via bungee.
The main issue would be that the hub is a 1.16.5 server, and so players cannot join unless they are on that version. Pixelmon is 1.12.2, which means that players will not be able to join the hub, then go to pixelmon; it’ll need to be joined through its IP address.

So I'm going to provisionally approve the high level idea of this, and will log this on an appropriate Teams space to start looking at what we need to do in order to make this a reality.
To be clear, this won't be a short term thing, and will probably not happen now for a couple of months at the earliest as we've got a lot of other stuff for the FreeOP Gamemode to sort out, plus a forum move plus other stuff, but I like the idea of expanding into other game modes, and if we can do this in a sensible way then I'm all for it.
