Rockbot alternatives?

Hey guys so I have a quick question. So there's an app called Rockbot that basically has a universal queue and anyone nearby can connect to the app and request music. I'm wondering if there's any free alternatives for the Raspberry Pi. It has an aux jack and my speaker does too so it would just be wired. We have a group session on spotify but it's extremely glitchy. We get disconnected from it all the time and have to text each other a link every single time. I'm wondering if there's any alternatives for the raspberry pi that I could use to achieve this
