Is it just me or is it becoming increasingly common for data leaks and breaches to happen because some developer made the terrible, terrible mistake of providing a paper trail to production databases? I swear, for some reason this reminds me of the time when some truly unfortunate Chinese developer made the truly awful mistake of accidentally including the credentials to the entire fucking Shanghai National Police database whilst writing something on their blog. How do you manage to pull off such a stupid blunder like that?
