My opinion on mob votes

  • I'd say they're mostly marketing gimnicks to keep the community engaged and hyped on something new.

  • I don't even care, as I know modders will add the two that don't win regardless.

I don't think it's going to work this time, after all the community is still mad over the content that was cut from 1.19 and even more mad from that 1.19.84 global moderation update. The community at this point of time is expecting Microsoft/Mojang to cut like 60% of the features from 1.20

  • Personally, I don't like any of the mobs that were added by mob vote. Mojang should just add whatever fucking mobs they feel like and allow the community no say in what they add.

It may work with the younger audience. It does look like Microsoft is trying hard to make Minecraft appealing to the new generations with all those child-friendly restrictions.

The issue is not the mobs themselves, but rather the features the mobs come with it. I feel like they could have done much more with the glow squid (like.. maybe.. actually make it glow for instance?)

allow the community no say in what they add

Disagree, as the #2 cause of corporate corruption: Ignoring what the people say.

you know its really bad when i haven't even looked into what the mobs are gonna be this year. im getting so fuckin disinterested with the updates now.

i fucking put everything into you and you stomped on it.

  • Maybe they should fix their fucking broken shitty code so that my whole computer doesn't lag to shit whenever I go into a singleplayer world.

Or thoroughly bug test the game and check for exploits that you know, work across several versions and that have potentially disastrous effects if used lmfao

I don't think they fit the game in the first place.

The common people should get no say in what corporations do, yielding to the mob in my opinion is one of the least based things you can do.
