would be better if we prevented the inactive admins from coming back so quickly by making them go through a vote… i really don’t see why they don’t have to

No.

There is a current "minimum activity requirement" of 12 hours a month. It isn't much to begin with and even if an admin is busy with life, it ain't hard to clock in 1 hour a day for 12 days to meet the requirement. And for reinstating admins, its generally expected that they have some sort of playtime established before reinstating. In the case of admins coming back and going inactive again and especially if they are known for it, the EAO can put them on a probationary period before restoring their full rank.

Staff are permitted to vote on reinstatement applications. The EAO is the one to make a final judgement based upon any votes.

I Object to any changes to the current policy.
