Hmm I think 2-3 fingers per hand + the thumbs for the space bar, but I just noticed I sometimes hit A, Shift, Return or ù with the pinkies.

Depends, if I’m playing a game at least 4, if I’m doing anything else it’s 2-3

6 for alphabetical and numerical characters.

8-9 if including SPACE, TAB, SHIFT, ENTER and BACKSPACE (normal use).

L_pinkie for TAB & SHIFT,

Ring, middle and index fingers on both hands for characters. R_Middle & R_Ring for ENTER + BACKSPACE.

(occasionally) R_pinkie for ENTER

all. pinkie for shift, fn, control etc. Once upon a time in 2013 i was slow as shit at typing. Like 10wpm. I then went on a website called dancemattyping that taught me hand placement and shit and nowadays my typing speed is like 110wpm and the hand placement is muscle memory

I have an unusual typing style that I can't really explain. I type with all of the fingers on my left hand, but I use just the index finger on my right hand. I'm naturally right handed, too.

I've probably been typing this way for a good decade, and I've never really bothered trying to break the habit for too long. I type quickly enough so it doesn't bother me. It just feels weird when I think about it.

Same for me. My highest WPM has been 142.
