If you try to place a banner that contains two patterns or more, you get this message
This is incredibly annoying when I'm trying to add banners on my builds, especially when the banner I'm trying to use only has 2 patterns (obviously not malicious)
What I suggest here is the removal of the message, or at least enforcing it when the banner has more than six patterns (which is the regular limit for banners)
From memory this actually doesn't remove the banner patterns whatsoever, and it also shows up even if you place blank banners with 0 patterns. I could be wrong though.

this part of your post seems to make it a bug report, not a suggestion. do you really want it removed, or not?
we modify the player’s inventory to minimize exploits, so i think we should retain any messages communicating that. it’s confusing otherwise.
