I've been thinking of suggesting this for awhile. The title really explains it all.
We should make an Event Host indicator for the forums in order for new users or unaware-of-rank users to see that they are indeed, Event hosts.

am i responsible for this
As an Event Host I honestly feel like this isn’t needed. Event Host is one of the few ranks/titles/roles that does not have an indicator on the forum (another I can think of is Discord Mod).
However, I would like to hear other people’s thoughts before voting.

"Discord staff" would be a useful badge since we have platform-specific ban appeals and suggestions.
Neutral like Ashaz
Neutral I don't think It's needed the only thing I can think of would be useful for would be for so event hosts like me can use announcements
I Object. The forums rank indicators are for actual ranks such as Admin, MB, etc. "Event Host" is just a title that doesn't hold any sort of authority or is an actual in-game "rank." It simply signifies that an individual can host events. Given the lack of actually holding of a rank, I feel Event Host doesn't need to have the title of a forum.
↩ @'anemone' MB's technically hold no position of power…
Object. Frankly I don’t really think mb should have a forum role due to their lack of use at this time. It’s a title, not a rank. It should be treated just the same as event host especially considering the event hosts do much more than the current mb team.
↩ Alco_Rs11 Not entirely true, they do have modification access to mbw and to my knowledge also have access to specific build related commands.
Just something else I wanted to add:
If we want people to be able to find out who event hosts are, we should have a ‘roster’ like we did for Senior Admins where it has a list of event hosts.
Object, I don't think this is necessary.
Could someone give me a solid use-case for why this would be genuinely helpful?
