i think that was the original idea anyway, they were rolling out microsoft integration to make the transition smoother from mojang accounts. the whole point is generally for all their minecraft products to be under one roof per say, that and 2FA

with all due respect i dont think a petition will revert this change. ultimately microsoft own the platform. its really a case of what more can you do really

hate to break it to you, but starting a petition ain't gonna do shit in this case -- from my understanding, microsoft is having y'all migrate accounts to microsoft account for the purpose of added security n whatnot.

↩  enchy Considering Bedrock Edition was built off Pocket Edition, which also has a major share in the total player-base of BE and Minecraft as a whole, they won't abandon it in return for making the game a Microsoft exclusive. We also already had such a fuss over the PS4 version, so we know how removing it later will end.

Mac OS is obviously never coming, though maybe the iOS port might become a more expansive AppleOS version thanks to the M1 chipset.

I personally don't mind at all, but changing my Microsoft account's primary email alias a few days ago caused a login issue where I couldn't connect to both Java and Bedrock, so I went back to my old primary. Pretty annoying if you ask me.
