Object. I doubt that this is possible and even if it is, why would we need it?
The old website had a space with a list of the online players. Not sure how we'd implement in on the forum instead (seeing the tag is "forums").
I'd object to add the banned players since the administration hasn't made any punishments list public on any platform.
Bumping for additional feedback.

Object, TFM already does this (alas in a buggy way) and this would be next to impossible to implement. Also, if a player is banned silently, wouldn't a public list of all currently banned players essentially make that useless?

Why does silent banning even exist? I can't really think of a scenario in which we want to ban someone without anyone knowing. AFAIK a public ban list would do nothing but add more transparency to the server.
↩ @'Miasmus.' To be honest, it's fair enough you want bans to be public. However, I think there are situations where it should be kept silent. An example of this may be when the reason for the ban might be against a well-known and/or well-liked player, and the admin who bans them might get shit in response for that. Or maybe the ban reason has to contain some PII. There are a multitude of reasons why it should exist. I think the current banning system is transparent enough.
I'm indifferent to the other idea, but listing banned players is just a bad idea. Could maybe just show the number of currently banned players purely for curiosity purposes, but nothing identifiable. It just causes unnecessary drama.
Again... How are we supposed to show real-time server data on this piece of forum software? Doesn't it make more sense to do it on the website?
Publishing banned players could be seen as public shaming and lead to brigading against either side.
↩ matscalle We already have this website, A stickied forum post with data that isn't updated in a month makes no sense to me.
I decide to object.
