MEGAF4IL Discord Ban Appeal

I didn't ban you. I thought you rage quit until I checked the audit logs. I wanted to know what the fuck was going on and take it from there... Not my doing for once.

Object. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable, and I honestly don't know how you haven't been suspended yet.

@shrimp#3111 that last screen shot is unrelated to this incident and that was made clear on discord... Not sure where you got that from but does make me concerned as to why that appeared in the first place.?

@MEGAF4IL#3110 I've asked the individual who banned you to reply to you here. That way they can justify their rational rather than me throwing people under the bus.

I did, because regardless of what led up to it that behavior isn't acceptable. All factors of the situation are being looked at, but telling people to kill themself is not okay for any reason. Trust me, I know what it's like to feel so heated towards someone that you start to lash out. It's on us as individuals to control our outbursts. I'll unban you in a few days.

I've literally never said a word to you in my life and all of the sudden you're just coming after me like this. I posted the screenshots to show your general behavior that has been repeated over a considerable amount of time, and it hasn't shown any improvement. Just not a good look to have somebody on the admin team who tells people to kill themselves out of nowhere and for no reason.

@shrimp#3117 I would suggest removing the images unrelated to this case. If you can provide first hand evidence for this incident that's great but otherwise I think it's misleading and inappropriate to just repost images which were posted without clear context.

I am objecting to this appeal for Shrimp's reasoning, and because you have failed to show an iota of regret for what you did. Make no mistake: it is not acceptable to tell others to commit suicide, and before today's incident, you stated that I had "one too few" strokes in my lifetime. The things you have said to administrators and operators alike are not tolerable.

I don't think they're directly related to this incident, however they show that MEGAF4IL has a history of this behavior and failed to learn from the last time something like this happened.

As I've said before, we can't be going back and revisiting every incident which has ever happened when they've been dealt with. I seem to recall you being someone very against that as an idea. It is in the past and has been dealt with and is ultimately irrelevant to this appeal as far as I'm concerned.

Putting your hate boner against half of this server's staff team aside, asking for somebody to commit suicide is not acceptable, nor are your previous remarks acceptable. If you don't like someone, block them. You're not an operator: you're a senior administrator and you've been here long enough to handle things maturely.

@wild1145#3123 I have previously voiced my contempt for the idea of revising previous sentences (as in punishments) because it would undermine that member's decision.

I believe that this previous incident was properly handled, but because they're done the exact same thing once again, their history goes to show that nothing has been learned from this earlier occurrence.

I do however agree that those images of an earlier incident, when left undescribed, can portray a misleading story about what happened today. I hope that my post here can provide some context behind those screenshots.

@MEGAF4IL#3127 If your intent is to apply this "a friend of my enemy is my enemy" logic here, then perhaps you should hang up the coat as an administrator. Being a member of this team requires that you learn to cooperate with people you don't necessarily like, or wouldn't get along with in a casual setting.
