Limited Edition Spleef - New Years Event

    Hello everyone! As part of New Years Day celebrations, I'm hosting an unofficial spleef event for New Years Day. This time round, we're going to feature different things, like falling lava, as well as random item drops throughout the game too. This is a Limited Edition event, meaning that this may be the only time this event runs!

    Date: Saturday, 1st January 2022
    Time: 6PM GMT

    ↩ @'r00t' Unfortunately timezones make pleasing everyone very difficult. No matter what time an event is held its always going to be at the early hours of the morning for somebody.


    If you'd like more events to be held at a time you find reasonable to yourself, I would encourage you to apply for event host.

    Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.

    this is the freedom server, there is no anticheat. event is currently unofficial anyhow

    this should just be common sense that unless jts specified in a competitive setting then its not allowed.

    It’s just me hosting it with the help of Tizz. The only reason this event is being hosted is because none of the event hosts have bothered to host a New Years Event and a lot of them have resigned too. I feel that everyone deserves to know the truth and that is the truth.

    We don’t use anticheats on Freedom-01. We stick to regions, which work pretty well, if I’m honest.

    Usually, there’s no hacks allowed at events. This will also be the rule for this event.

    Yeah, after your post I'm actually considering making this a part of the event. After all, it's Limited Edition Spleef.

    as far as im concerned. this event is now considered official as i believe it checks out most of what it needs and wants coin insensitives


    this was in talks with ashaz and he is on board whilst i let him do his own thing

    bare with us, the server killed itself and i didn't realise it was at 6PM not 8PM (which we usually do events at)

    Unfortunately I could not attend the event due to a last minute work call (work was the reason I resigned from the team). However, I am glad to hear my initial effort for the event before today helped the server reach 32 players.


    Thank you to Lyicx for holding the fort down. I’m sorry that you guys weren’t given your promised limited edition stuff, but this won’t be the last time I host that kind of an event.
