    i'm bringing this back up (sorry lyicx for bugging you again lol) because i would love for my plugin to be used in one big event that i can rejoin TF for as this plugin took me a bit to make. looking back at it, it was a shame how things turned out
    now, miniSMP is dead and has been dead for a whiles now (and for good reasons) however the nature of this plugin really wasn't minismp - i just named it so to fit in with the others at the time - but moreover just a zombie survival plugin where any format would work with it (e.g. a town map)
    i'm proposing this be introduced on a planned event where hopefully (i've only done balance testing on like 2 people and i don't have the source code anymore) it will be fun and good


    i forgot most of the features but heres some off the top of my head

    • heartbeat system so that humans can track zombies (can also be heard by anyone nearby)
    • "smelling" system so that zombies can track humans which can be masked by zombie blood
    • biting system that regens
    • crafting system

    at it's current state, i don't believe the plugin is that unbalanced (in fact it is in the survivor's favour) and even if it was to a short extent, the event hosts could do something about it directly

    if they can't trust me to provide a plugin to an event server (which i have done plenty a time before) they can do whatever they want to deobfuscate it
    i literally built a new pc less than an hour ago so i have no files to do with this plugin except the completed jar (hopefully it is the latest) i sent to lyicx a while back

    I love the concept and it would bring a very fun pass time for TF players! I was also there during the early developmental stages of this plugin and it's wonderfully made with simple mechanics.

    I’ve tried this. It’s amazing. It’s a bit like hide and seek, but instead you have zombies. If anyone played cops and robbers as a kid, or hide and seek tag, this is what it’s like.

    so it's been about 12 days since the suggestion started and as i was talking to ashaz i thought that i would do a mini-event which isn't official this weekend and get some admins and known people to try and join with hopefully more than 5 people and later down in the next year we can make this into a big event as long as the server isn't already dead
    i'll be dming people (or dm me on discord if interested) if they're interested on joining on sat or sunday depending on people's ability to join on a personally hosted server

    i gotta properly look over this as a thing for its own thing but to me a lot of the dna for this sort of event does seem to be minismp albeit a lot of the dna from that is your standard survival type thing

    Square's plugin was tested by Charge, me and a few others who were on FR01 at the time. It turned out to be a good test event, and I've forwarded feedback to Charge on the test event too.


    We hope to host an event based on this plugin soon. It won't be minismp based, though.
