Matscalle - Event Host

I object.

At today's event, which the applicant is to take over tomorrow, the applicant and another player proceeded to instigate arguments between the two sides of the map - the 'Rich' side and the 'Poor' side. The applicant was on the 'Rich' side. The arguments further lead to the two sides fighting, instead of the peace being maintained. The behaviour portrayed by the applicant has now lead me, and many of today's players, to assume that the applicant is not fit for leadership.

The applicant should not be allowed to host their part of the 3 day event tomorrow. As for their sanction, they have been banned for a week from the events server. Further sanctions may be handed out.

The event overall went well, but the applicant's actions caused it to end dramatically and ultimately lead to the event stopping.

Even if you didn't grief with lava or instigate a war. You tend to overstep into other's business and handle issues in a way that hurts the team even more.

Whilst the chaos was ensuing in the chat, I took some time and proceeded to look into who actually placed the lava, and it indeed proved to be Rex.

My client logs list as follows:

As you can see, about 11-12 minutes before this log being taken, lava was placed by Rex. This corresponds with the messages sent into the chat at around 7:26PM GMT, with questions as to who placed the lava.

Therefore, it was indeed Rex who placed the lava and not matscalle. However, my notes about matscalle causing drama in my objection are true.

↩  Flobbier fwiw he did completely flip out because things didn't go his way and threatened to sabotage the entire event. He also took things into his own hands without permission from Lyicx (the person actually hosting the event). It's that lack of maturity that I don't feel is capable of hosting and managing events.

This comment by Red on another application applies here fantastically . He has showed a lack of both problem solving and leadership.

Respectfully, the applicant's incapacity to manage their own emotions when things don't go their way is a major reason for not giving them this role. To be in this role, you need to be a good team member. You need to listen, both to your fellows and to your team leader. You need to be able to keep a calm when things go out of control. The actions I and others witnessed today have proved that the applicant is not fit for this role.

sorry, but you've not shown that you'd be able to handle managing stuff if things go wrong, hell it appears you cannot even handle things going wrong when you aren't hosting them. that ain't good.
