So, recently i've had an idea regarding "Game-Modes"
Instead of the generic "No Hacking, No Exploiting, Etc.", what if gamemodes followed the same ruleset as freedom-01 (With rules that don't apply to said gamemode removed to avoid clutter), but then there's also a twist put on each gamemode, for example with what the SMP did, it had the custom items plugin, which was a twist/gimmick that improved the overall quality of the SMP.
What im trying to suggest here is that we move more towards being unique with new gamemodes, using the freedom-01 rules with 0% clutter, keeping a minimalist ruleset, while still keeping it consistent with freedom-01 rules, but also having a gimmick along with the minimalist ruleset to make it more unique, instead of moving towards being generic by equipping Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V, and using them to acquire gamemodes.
Ideally, this is what a new gamemode would sorta look like, something that hasn't really been done in minecraft before (at least, as far as i know):
Gamemode Name: Void Raid
Description: Void Raid is a gamemode where it's kinda like skyblock, but everyone is on one island, and mobs attack in waves, with custom mobs in there as well, and smp items slapped on top. Variations could be possible, like a round-based PvP variant using movecraft, which would allow for extra interaction with guilds.
Another possible format for gamemode suggestions could be:
Gamemode Name:
General Premise:
Gimmick 1:
Gimmick 2:
Gimmick 3:
Summary/Description:
Now, let's see the idea of void raid with the second format
Gamemode Name: Void Raid
General Premise: Skyblock, but everyone's on the same island
Gimmick 1: Mobs attack in Waves
Gimmick 2: Custom Items & Mobs
Gimmick 3: Possible Variations & Movecraft
Summary/Description: Skyblock, but it’s the entire server on 1 island, and they have to defend a "core" at the center of the island against waves of mobs, but they have custom items, armor, and possibly movecraft, with some room for variations of the gamemode. The game resets when the core is destroyed.
TL;DR: Make gamemodes going forward more unique, instead of Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V.
