Flobbier - Ban Appeal

  • frankly yeah object your conduct got warned several times for pushing your luck and I think you need a little more than a month before I can safely vouch

  • While I believe your apology is sincere (small note for others, it isn't exactly out of the blue), I feel it's too early. I'd give some people like Ryan more time to forgive you, in the meantime keep showing you're really sorry. Neutral

after all you have done I find it humorous that you are even attempting to appeal your ban just one month in. I acknowledge your sincerity but frankly, the damage and hurt you have caused is far to great for me to support your return at this time.

I don't get why people say It's too early. It would make no difference waiting 2 months, or even 5. I already know what I've done and there really is no point in waiting longer. I've seen the consequences and been through them already.

Flobbier I’ve already been punished, the definition of punishment is to impose an undesirable outcome on someone for their actions, which is what happened in this case.

And an extension of this would also be an undesirable outcome no?

cuz ryan doesn't feel like it is and your shit affected him the most given you literally made fun of his appearance (repeatedly afterwards may I add I saw that groupchat I got added to), if you were truly remorseful you'd see that

@'Ryan' I don’t see how a one month indef ban teaches a lesson. Come back in a few months and my mind may change.

Putting a time limit on forgiveness is petty imo. What Flobbier did was petty as well but two wrongs don't make a right. I think he's genuinely sorry and if you don't accept that now then I don't see what waiting does. As the owner, you have the ability to change other people's votes based solely on what you say and I think it's unfair to essentially doom somebody's appeal this way. I urge you to judge the situation from a neutral standpoint, and not from one of the afflicted - because what you say is practically the lynchpin of the appeal. The same goes to all other players, especially admins: do not let Ryan's vote determine your own, if you judge that Flobbier truly does not deserve to be unbanned, then object and provide personal reasoning.

! Notice how before Ryan's objection there were zero genuine objections, and afterwards there were six.

  •   jwmphall i'm not looking at it from "he pissed off the owner" moreso "he pissed off this person". if this was any player i'd rather them decide if they think its been long enough rather than me. i do believe he is sincere but I do also believe it's not been long enough to justify unbanning given the extent of what he did as well as the fact that his general conduct was pretty poor (with warnings too) for the weeks leading up to that. is everyone forgetting that this dude was forum banned several times and refused to listen to anyones warnings?

  •   ThePyroManActualAccount i did and i disagree with him. he's saying "don't agree with ryan just because he's the owner" and I'm saying "Im agreeing with him because he's a person who was afflicted". i frankly don't care if its "setting a time limit on punishment" or whatever.

  •   Luke if you dont care about setting a time limit on a punishment that literally goes against your reason to object which is
