Give msg(s) to players who join the server for the first time

  • The msg in question im suggesting is "&bDo /opme for Worldedit." so that new players wont get confused when worldedit doesn't work.
While i do forsee that this could possibly increase the intensity of griefs made by new players, it could help in player retention, as some players might leave after being confused at the lack of worldedit
another possible msg is "&bThis is Not Anarchy, Please read /Rules".

Another possible solution is to sudo them to do /opme and/or /rules at first join, although i advise against sudoing with /rules since it can flood one's chat.

    "Never Surrender."

  • This already exists.

I suggested this when I was active and I believe @"videogamesm12"#4 has already implemented a system where executives can change the new player join message in game, making it much more useful.

I am not sure if it’s been implemented in the newest TFM tho

  • I agree with kanst, but I object to /opme for that reason. We should not be adding official announcements telling users how to work around the things we've broken, we should fix them instead.
