Some issues with folder creation

Hi guys

So basically whenever I create a new folder, File Explorer seizes up and goes into 'Not Responding' mode.. then after 5-6 seconds it returns to how it was, just with a new folder. The thing is this is happening more frequently and is making it take longer to make new folders.

Any ideas?

Nope, it happens when I make folders on my SSD (which is my boot drive). Haven’t tested HDD yet.

The SSD has about 13gb left of space, and the HDD is not even close to being full. Also I tested it on the HDD and it doesn't happen there, but when I create a new folder I need to refresh file explorer.
