I know that being annoying with the clownfish is punishable under 3c but I personally believe that we should prevent problems from occuring rather than sanctioning for them.
Vouch.

Wdym I'm irritating I don't even have the clownfish

↩ FromTimeToTime please vouch, petya is so irritating
Tell an admin or report the OP and we can disable their clownfish
Vouch
-
So this was previously rejected because the fact people can buy the add on it didn't seem fair to let people opt out of that.
-
-
Object lol people have bought this with coins to use it. It’s just silly to enable players to stop other purchasing players from using clownfish. If you don’t like it tell them to stop and if they don’t an admin will sanction them.

Just add an anti-clownfish in the shop. Boom people didn't waste money on the fish and economy starts spinning again
-
Look at how they're massacring my boy
NO to the knockback being stopped, frankly most people use clients anyway which can block it, and even if you don't there's ways of avoiding it
Vouch to the sound being removed/only plays in a small radius (rather than globally at max volume jfc)
-
Definitely not, object. Removes the purpose of the purchasable item entirely.
Vouch for the removal of the sound
-
Object
If the item is problematic, then remove it. I think this is a better solution than coding around it.
-
Vouch. Literally everyone who uses this (including staff) sees it as an orange ticket to bother whoever they please, since most of the time they get away with it by using the excuse that they bought it with coins. It actively encourages people to break the rules.

↩ FromTimeToTime Would you buy the latest iPhone if it became nonoperational within a month? No, so Object to this suggestionI changed my vote: I will vouch to a temporary toggle only (see this post for more info: ↩ characterslimits)
-
↩ characterslimits Not entirely a valid argument, the reason why people want a toggle for the clownfish is because it sends you flying and can be loud and annoying.
-
You're wrong, ops will use this opt-out in the same way they use /tptoggle. TP is almost always disabled on any regular player, regardless of if they're in a private area or not. It would be turned on by the player, and left on.
This would kill off the point of this item entirely by limiting the users affected by it.
Quotegiven the chance, would already respond "please don't do that"
As you've said here, we already have a system for that. Disabling a user's clownfish is available to an admin if that user proves to be a continuous nuisance. We don't need this.
tl:dr: If everyone had the ability to opt-out, it would be turned on.. and left on. Rendering the item completely useless
-
↩ characterslimits Would you buy the latest iPhone if other people could block your calls? Yes, so Vouch to this suggestion
-
Wasn't there a suggestion for adding a cooldown like other items alteady have? That would do it I think.
-
I Vouch. Players deserve an option to migitate the effects of an item that can be used to annoy them. Regardless if it costs coins, a few people blocking the effect because they do not want to be annoyed is not stopping you from using the clownfish on someone who doesn't mind its usage and clearly it isn't taking the item away.
-
While most people are vouching for the feature, it puts me in a difficult position.
The entire point of these shop items is for people to spend their coins on, and by disabling the functionality of those items, the items effectively become worthless (like the tp toggle discussion).
If we enable the toggle, we would also likely need to refund anyone who bought the clownfish and remove it from their purchased items, letting them chose if they want to purchase an item which will effectively be useless within days or save their coins for other things.
I'll leave this open with that thought for a bit longer, and would appreciate peoples thoughts.
