Isn't Windows 10 supposed to be the last version? I remember Microsoft literally saying that

↩  characterslimits Technically they didn't. The idea of Windows 10 was to serve as a service (Windows as a service) where Microsoft can continuously update.

I installed this build on my PC (not in a VM) and my boot time improved. I am liking it so far.

I personally like it. It looks less boring than Windows 10 controls. I still however miss the Vista Aero UI.

They did not. You can however use Linux commands with WSL. You can do that in 10 also.

It really does feel like they're trying to get MacOS users to switch with changes like centralised task bar (Which I personally dislike over being located to the left/right).

That aside it feels and looks the same as 10 from what I've seen, which makes sense since I think at this point all new changes would be quality of life.

↩  lyicx I did daily driving of such builds with Windows 8, 8.1 and 10. Major issues are rare, but you should keep your data backed up just in case.

A windows reinstall often wipes everything on the drive regardless of if you want it to or not.

↩  Windows i've never experienced that before personally, my partition where i usually store things isn't ever touched during a reinstall
