Let us fly fast into already loaded chunks, without rubber banding

  • Not sure this is something we actually control... I think this is vanilla mechanics?

  • I get the chunks are already loaded but is this not meant to stop Columbus griefing? It's too complex to work out whether or not the chunks the player is moving into are loaded or not.

    Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.

  •   erin It is indeed meant to stop Columbus griefing, but if Folfy is noticing this while playing normally, perhaps the limit is currently too low. Automatically figuring out if a player is Columbus griefing is indeed a bit awkward, but we could for example alert online admins if a large amount of chunks is suddenly being loaded in a small amount of time.

  • So on Freedom-01 I've changed the setting Steven mentioned from


    moved-too-quickly-multiplier: 10.0 to moved-too-quickly-multiplier: 13.0 in the hopes that should help. I'll leave this thread open for a few weeks to see if that's doing the job or not.
