Currently, discussions on discord only have one color: &c Red
However, on discord the people talking have different ranks, and colors:
I am suggesting displaying the username of those players using the color they have in discord chat.
Minecraft has HEX color support for the chat, so I believe it could even be automatically picked up and applied.
Add discord role color support to minecraft chat

I'd vouch if it were purely based on admin+ roles (and other roles such as mentally unstable) - however, if we're going off of hex codes, I wouldn't want to see op's names come up as white in chat.

Vouch for blocking colour codes on names and using the ones for the staff roles. It'll make impersonation harder.
EDIT for clarification

So I've raised FS-387 to make the tags that show up in game from the Discord bridge match those as if the player was really in game, I think that should look a lot more "Normal".
My thought potentially with usernames was to allow them to be more customisable, like in game. Potentially through linking your IG to Discord, and allowing people to set the display name both text and colour, but would appreciate folks thoughts as it's not quite the same as this suggestion...

Bumping again...

Given nobody jumped on my additional suggestion, and I've already raised the ticket to do what the original request was, closing.
