So i have a fresh installation of Windows 2000 in a VM. It turns out that its the oldest Windows i can have internet on. I installed IE6 but i can still only open HTTP pages. Does anyone have a fix to this issue?

Perhaps this graph can help.
IE 6 uses old SSL/TLS or whatever (outdated now) so it is possible that it can't load them because of it.
See https://superuser.com/questions/1047…6-0-sp1-in-2016 (this is back in 2016 but a solution might be in there)
